The episode starts with Dadi getting ready for the trip. Dadi asks Bhavani and Vyom why they haven’t packed their bags yet. Dadi reminds them that they are going to the resort to celebrate Karan’s birthday.
Lakshmi notices a rose in the flower vase and recalls telling Karan that if he accepts her and the baby in his life, he can give her the red rose. Lakshmi then sees Karan coming downstairs with his luggage. Lakshmi wonders what Karan’s decision is and leaves from there.
In the corridor, Karan pulls Lakshmi towards himself with a rose in his mouth and flirts with her. Lakshmi tries to ask Karan if he has really accepted her and the baby, but before she can finish, Karan says yes and tells her that after hearing her news, his birthday has become really special. Lakshmi hugs Karan and thanks him in her heart for accepting her and her baby. Jia and Krish witness this from afar. Jia tells Krish that Lakshmi doesn’t know Karan never heard her confession and that they executed their plan last night.
It is shown that Lakshmi actually confesses not to Karan but to Krish in Karan’s study room. Lakshmi then leaves the study room. Jia enters the study room and tells Krish that it is good Karan was intoxicated due to alcohol and lost consciousness. Jia tells Krish that they should execute the next step of their plan, and Krish agrees.
In the morning, Karan wakes up in the study room and finds a rose and a greeting card saying “sorry” and “congratulations.” Karan wonders why Lakshmi congratulated him. He then reads a note, thinking Lakshmi has written it.
In the note, Lakshmi says that she knows Karan is upset with her and explains that she said congratulations because she is going to the gynaecologist so that they can become parents. Karan gets excited, thinking Lakshmi is planning to have a baby with him.
Jia looks at Krish and asks how her idea is. Jia says that Lakshmi thinks Karan has accepted her and the baby, whereas Karan thinks Lakshmi is going to have a baby with him.
The Kapoor family arrives at the resort. Lakshmi notices Karan looking stressed and asks him if he is still upset with her. Karan says he has a few complaints, but they are nothing serious, and he leaves.
Dadi books her room and tells Lakshmi that Karan looks a little upset. Dadi asks Lakshmi to do something to cheer him up. Lakshmi agrees, and Dadi leaves.
Two people then approach Lakshmi, saying they are from an adoption agency and have come to take the baby. Lakshmi says the baby belongs to her and that she will not give her away. The adoption agency staff ask Lakshmi if she has any proof. Lakshmi says she does not have it right now. The staff say it looks like she is attached to the baby and inform her that she can adopt the baby by signing the papers along with her husband. They tell her she must submit the form by 7 pm, or they will take the baby. Lakshmi agrees.
Lakshmi goes to Karan. Karan apologises, saying he is busy with work. He explains that his manager brought him some papers to sign today and that he needs to complete the signatures. Lakshmi thinks about the baby and tells Karan that the adoption agency staff said they would take the baby away if they do not adopt her. Lakshmi asks Karan to sign the adoption papers after finishing his work. Just then, Bhavani calls Lakshmi, and she leaves. Lakshmi unknowingly leaves the adoption papers behind.
Karan removes his earbuds and realises he couldn’t hear what Lakshmi said because he was on a phone call with his manager. Karan tries to look at the papers Lakshmi left behind. Krish deliberately falls over Karan’s table and mixes all the papers. Karan asks Krish what he has done and tells him that Lakshmi had just brought some papers that are now mixed with his office documents. Krish lies and says those papers are also office-related. Feeling relieved, Karan signs all the papers.
Krish takes the signed papers and leaves, thinking that Karan has unknowingly become a father and will eventually blame Lakshmi for it.
Episode ends.
Precap: Lakshmi thanks Karan for agreeing to adopt the baby and tells him that he signed the adoption papers. A shocked Karan asks Lakshmi what adoption and which baby she is talking about. Karan confronts Lakshmi and tells her that he never knew she had a baby because she never told him.
