The episode starts with Karthik getting a daydream of someone stabbing Lakshmi from behind with a knife. He wakes up shouting Lakshmi’s name. Gayatri and Sanjana rush to him and ask what happened. He says he feels Lakshmi is in danger. Sanjana suggests he light a diya in front of Maata Rani for Lakshmi’s wellbeing. Gayatri scolds her for giving such advice. Karthik lights the diya before Maata Rani and prays for Lakshmi’s wellbeing.
An old lady finds the injured Lakshmi and takes her home. She applies lep to Lakshmi’s wounds and prays to Maata Rani to save her. After she leaves the room, the Goddess appears in Lakshmi’s form near Lakshmi’s bed.
Meanwhile, while driving, Jia thinks Lakshmi’s chapter has ended, and now she can party freely and celebrate her success.
Devotees pray to Maata Di, saying that whenever sins increase on earth, Maata takes an avatar to restore balance. Maata walks along with the devotees.
As Imarti, Jia thinks, “Finally Lakshmi is dead, and now Karthik is mine.” Suddenly, the power goes off. She asks who is there. Goddess Durga appears before her in Lakshmi’s form, holding a hunter rope. Jia asks if she is not dead. Maata replies, “I have come to punish you for your sins,” and strikes Jia with the hunter rope. Jia tries to attack her by throwing a vase, but the vase shatters before reaching Maata. Jia shouts for help. When she looks again, Lakshmi/Goddess is not there. Terrified, Jia runs downstairs calling out for Karthik. She realizes she called him like Jia and quickly changes her tone to Imarti.
Karthik comes to her. Jia tells them Lakshmi wants to kill her and begs him to save her. Karthik and Gayatri ask her to show them what happened. Jia takes them to her room to show the mess, but they find the room perfectly fine, and her injuries are also gone. Sanjana says, “Lakshmi went to Vaishnodevi, why are you lying?” Gayatri says maybe she was dreaming and asks her to take rest. Jia thinks, “Did Lakshmi become a ghost and is haunting me?” She sees Lakshmi again and asks them to look, but no one else can see her.
Meanwhile, real Lakshmi shows some movement in her hand and takes Karthik’s name. The old lady sees Lakshmi recovering and prays to Maata Di to protect her.
The next day, Karthik comes to the area where Lakshmi is being treated for his upcoming concert. The manager says it’s a perfect location for the event. Karthik says it’s too hot there. As his water bottle is empty, he goes near a house to ask for water — the same house where Lakshmi is being treated. The old lady invites him inside and offers him water. She asks if they are from the city. Karthik replies that he came from Delhi to check this location for a song shoot. While drinking water, he notices someone lying on the bed. Curious, he goes near and is about to remove the curtain to see the person.
