The episode begins with Gayatri serving halwa she prepared to everyone. Umesh praises it, calling it the best. Gayatri eagerly waits for Lakshmi to eat, but a rat runs near Lakshmi’s feet, startling her and causing her to drop the bowl. Gayatri scolds Lakshmi for wasting the halwa. Karthik intervenes, saying it’s fine, and offers to share his portion, feeding Lakshmi from his own bowl. Umesh asks Gayatri not to overreact. Sanjana comments that Gayatri must have added something special to Lakshmi’s bowl and shows a video.
Gayatri explains that she only added coconut because Lakshmi likes it. A flashback shows Gayatri noticing Sanjana recording her in the kitchen through a mirror. Pretending to be supportive, Gayatri says she is happy to see Lakshmi and Karthik together and even wants to see their child someday. She asks Sanjana to stop doubting her and insists she didn’t add poison. Lakshmi also asks Sanjana to let go of the past. Sanjana leaves but thinks to herself that Gayatri definitely tried to poison Lakshmi and vows to expose her.
Gayatri confronts Sanjana, warning her to stay within limits. Sanjana warns her not to harm Lakshmi, or she will lose Karthik forever. Gayatri slaps her and leaves. Sanjana resolves to teach her a lesson.
Meanwhile, Karthik and Nidhi arrange a Shimla-style snowfall. Karthik asks Nidhi if she sent Lakshmi’s gift. Nidhi assures him that Lakshmi has already received it. Hearing a knock, Lakshmi opens the door to find a box from Karthik containing a gown.
Karthik asks her to wear it and come downstairs for a surprise. Lakshmi requests to wear a saree instead, but Karthik insists on the gown. When she appears, Karthik is mesmerized by her beauty. Lakshmi is delighted by the snowy setup, and the two dance happily.
Elsewhere, Gayatri wonders where Lakshmi has gone. Hearing music, she comes to the hall and sees them dancing, which fuels her anger. She decides Lakshmi must be kept away from Karthik.
Later, Gayatri meets Pandit Maharaj, telling him Lakshmi didn’t eat the halwa with the powder she had mixed and that she doesn’t want Lakshmi near her son. Maharaj observes Lakshmi from a distance and says she is unsuitable for Karthik, warning that her presence will bring him trouble. He suggests performing a ritual at home to prevent Lakshmi from becoming a mother.
Lakshmi comes and questions Gayatri about what they are talking about and who is the pandit. Gayatri lies that Maharaj is there to remove negative energy from the house. Maharaj takes Lakshmi’s hand and claims her horoscope is harmful to her husband, advising her to stay away from him. Lakshmi refuses and walks away. Maharaj, offended, vows to deal with her attitude.
