The episode starts with Lakshmi seeing that the attacker is Karan. She wonders why he is behaving differently when he was normal in the morning at the mandir. Dadi notices that Karan is not in his room. She calls Bhavani and Vyom and scolds them for not taking care of him, saying they don’t even know where he has gone and his health is not good. She hopes he doesn’t land in any danger. Bhavani smirks, thinking that Karan is a danger to someone else.
Karan tries to attack Lakshmi with a knife. Lakshmi says, “Karan, it’s me.” Karan suddenly falls unconscious on her. Lakshmi is confused by his sudden change in behaviour. Dadi prays for Karan’s wellbeing. The doorbell rings, and she opens the door assuming it’s Karan. Lakshmi enters, carrying unconscious Karan. Bhavani and Vyom are shocked to see them. Bhavani immediately accuses Lakshmi and asks what she has done to him. Lakshmi says she came to find out what happened to Karan because he was roaming the streets and even tried to kill her twice. Dadi is shocked. Bhavani tells Dadi not to believe Lakshmi. She sends Karan inside with Vyom and asks Lakshmi to leave, but Dadi stops her and takes Lakshmi inside.
Dadi tells Lakshmi that Karan was previously injured on his head while saving her, and his behaviour changed after that. She explains that he walks out at night and is not in his senses. She says Karan is fine whenever Lakshmi is around, so she requests her to stay and protect him. Lakshmi refuses, but Dadi begs her and is about to touch her feet, asking her to stay for her sake, not for Karan. Lakshmi agrees to stay until Karan is cured. Dadi thanks her.
The next day, Lakshmi goes to Karan’s room and sees him shirtless. She turns away. Karan teases her for returning to his life. Lakshmi realises he doesn’t remember last night’s attack. She tells him she is only staying for Dadi. She asks if he needs anything. Karan indirectly asks for tea, and Lakshmi understands and goes to prepare it.
Bhavani tells Vyom that she planned to eliminate both Karan and Lakshmi at once but they are both back. She recalls mixing medicine in Karan’s drink to make him obey her and hypnotising him to kill Lakshmi. She had covered his face with a bandage and sent him to attack Lakshmi. She says she tried everything but nothing worked. Vyom says Lakshmi left earlier but now she is back. Bhavani says it’s time for Karan’s second dose and that he will kill Lakshmi inside the house.
Lakshmi heads to Karan’s room with tea and sees Vyom coming out of it. She wonders what he was doing there. Lakshmi gives the tea to Karan. In aggression, he breaks the cup and tells Lakshmi that he hates her and throws her out. Bhavani asks Vyom if he added five drops to Karan’s drink. Vyom says he added six. Bhavani says that in a few minutes, Karan will kill Lakshmi and Barkha will finally get her revenge. Lakshmi begins suspecting Vyom’s involvement in Karan’s sudden behaviour change.
Later at night, Lakshmi is sleeping in her room. Karan enters, breaks a vase, and tries to attack her. Lakshmi pushes him away and says, “I’m Lakshmi! Why are you trying to kill me?”
