The episode begins with Karthik telling Jia, “You may forcefully marry me, but you can never make me sing—only Lakshmi can do that.” He walks away. Gayatri asks Jia why Karthik is calling their marriage “forceful.” Jia manages to cover up the situation. Meanwhile, both Lakshmi and Karthik miss each other and cry silently in their respective places.
Karthik hears on the radio about a meteor shower happening that night in the North East Hills of Delhi and is encouraged to make a wish. Lakshmi hears the same broadcast. They both recall a promise they made to each other—to wish for their union the next time they see a meteor shower.
At a traffic signal, Jia spots Lakshmi and follows the auto-rickshaw, only to find another woman inside. She assumes she was mistaken. Meanwhile, Lakshmi is shown to be in a different auto. Both Lakshmi and Karthik arrive separately at the meteor shower location and pray to reunite. Their hands unknowingly move close to one another.
Back at Karthik’s house, Raghuveer arrives, hoping to speak with him about Lakshmi. Gayatri opens the door and bluntly tells Raghuveer that Karthik doesn’t want to meet him, slamming the door in his face. Suspicious, Raghuveer senses that Gayatri is hiding something. He decides that Lakshmi should only return once he has spoken to Karthik.
Later, an inspector visits Karthik and asks if he has forgotten Lakshmi, reminding him that he informed his fiancée about a lead, but Karthik never followed up. Karthik realizes that Jia lied to him. He urgently asks the inspector about Lakshmi’s whereabouts. The inspector says someone took her from the location and advises Karthik to check at the hospital or the Sunset Police Station. Lakshmi waits, wondering why Karthik hasn’t come.
At home, Jia dances to the song Kamli as part of her performance practice. Karthik arrives and confronts her. She tries to flirt, but he pushes her away and demands to know why she lied. Jia brushes it off, saying he’s angry and she doesn’t want to argue. Karthik, enraged, grabs her by the neck and accuses her of hiding the police lead. He declares, “You want me to lose hope, forget Lakshmi, and forcefully marry you—but that won’t happen. I will find my Lakshmi.”
