The episode starts with Karan telling his employees that today is the last working day of one of their team members, and he wants everyone to give that employee a warm farewell. Everyone discusses whose last day it could be. Karan then gives the farewell bouquet to Lakshmi. Lakshmi is shocked and asks why it’s her farewell and what she did. Karan says, “You stole my heart and married me. You’re the malkin now, so you don’t need to work anymore. Now, cut the cake.” He asks everyone to shower love on Lakshmi.
Lakshmi tells Karan that she’s working on costumes for the new music album and wants to continue her job. Karan says he doesn’t want to get embarrassed, which is why he’s removing her—he doesn’t want anyone to comment on his wife seeing her work there. He leaves.
Barkha enters Karan’s cabin and questions him about why he fired an employee. Karan says, “Lakshmi is my wife, and I can fire her if I want. Hire someone else.” Barkha reminds him that clients are visiting tomorrow, and only Lakshmi knows all the project details. She says the team is already in chaos, and without Lakshmi, they could lose the deal.
Later, Karan goes to Lakshmi with a bouquet. Lakshmi asks if he’s also planning to make her leave the house and says she’s ready to accept it. Karan clarifies that he came to ask her to return to work. Lakshmi steps on the bouquet and says, “I’m not a puppet who will act on your command. I’ve already applied to another company.” Karan warns her to resume her work, but Lakshmi refuses and warns him not to touch her before leaving.
Karan then meets Barkha and Karthik. Barkha asks if he convinced his wife, reminding him that clients are coming tomorrow and are not agreeing to postpone the meeting. Karan spots Lakshmi nearby and says they need to cut costs, suggesting they drop Karthik’s song. Both Barkha and Karthik plead with him not to do it, but Karan insists, saying he can’t risk his investment right now. Karthik is disappointed.
The next morning, Lakshmi gets ready. Karan asks where she’s going so early. Lakshmi says she’s going to the office, adding that she understood his indirect blackmail by stopping Karthik’s song. Karan smiles, saying he’s glad she understood and rejoined work. Lakshmi says she returned with conditions and warns him not to force her again.
At the office, Karan watches Lakshmi as she works. Lakshmi taunts Karan, saying he was happy firing her but couldn’t manage without her. Karan reminds her that he’s still her boss. Lakshmi retorts confidently, and Karan walks away.
Meanwhile, Barkha gets ready for a party and asks Karthik to get ready too, saying they have to attend Chandini’s event. Karthik asks why. Barkha explains that Chandini’s event is the biggest social gathering of the year, where all major music executives attend, and they need to network. Bhavani overhears them and pulls Barkha aside.
Bhavani advises Barkha not to take Karthik, saying he’s a struggling singer and might lower her class. Barkha disagrees and tells Bhavani not to interfere in her personal life.
Later, Karan scolds Manny, asking how the accounts team could make a ₹50 lakh mistake. Lakshmi overhears and secretly pours glue on the floor. Karan steps on it and gets stuck. Lakshmi teases him. When Karan asks if she’s behind it, Lakshmi tells him to calm down and count from 1 to 10 if he wants to get free. Having no choice, Karan does it.
Karan explains that the accounts team made a ₹50 lakh error. Lakshmi checks the records and says the team didn’t make any mistake—he did, as he was looking at the wrong date receipts. Karan realises she’s right. Lakshmi mocks him, pours water on the glue, and walks away. Karan feels humiliated in front of his staff and vows to take revenge.
