The episode starts with Karthik leaving the old lady’s house without noticing Lakshmi on the bed. Later, at home, Karthik sees the lights flickering. A live wire is about to fall on him, but Lakshmi saves him. Karthik asks how she managed to hold the live wire and hopes she isn’t hurt. Lakshmi says she is fine. Just then, Gayatri and Sanjana come there. Sanjana asks if she returned so early from Vaishno Devi. Lakshmi says it was necessary. Jia comes downstairs, gets scared on seeing Lakshmi, and asks her to show the tickets. Lakshmi shows her ticket and leaves. Jia thinks that earlier also Lakshmi scared her by acting like a ghost, but this time she won’t fall into her trap. Gayatri comments that Lakshmi is talking like a Devi.
Jia follows Lakshmi to the room and tries to stab her with a knife. Devi Maa, in Lakshmi’s form, twists Jia’s hand and says she has come to punish her for her sins. Jia screams that her hand is breaking. Lakshmi pushes her away. Jia thinks that Lakshmi might have become a ghost and leaves from there.
In her room, Jia thinks about how she had pushed Lakshmi from a moving bus, making it impossible for her to survive. She decides to find out whether the person in Lakshmi’s form is truly Lakshmi or her ghost.
The next day, Lakshmi/Devi Maa applies paarani to her feet and then starts cooking. Gayatri comes and scolds Lakshmi for preparing tiffin late and serving her tea one hour late. Devi Maa remains silent. While leaving, Gayatri slips. Devi Maa says karma never spares anyone and comments on it. Gayatri leaves. Devi Maa thinks that she will stay here in Lakshmi’s form to take care of everything until her devotee Lakshmi recovers, and in the meantime, she will punish the wrongdoers.
Later, Jia enters Lakshmi’s room with a gun and fires at her. The bullet hits the wall, but nothing happens to Lakshmi/Devi Maa. Jia gets shocked. Devi Maa takes the gun from Jia and points it at her forehead. She fires, but Jia wonders why the bullet didn’t harm her when the gun was fully loaded. She sees Lakshmi smiling and returning the gun to her before leaving. Jia feels terrified and collapses to the floor.
Jia calls Prema and seeks her help, saying Lakshmi has become a ghost. Prema asks how that is possible. Jia says Lakshmi has gained powers and she is unable to attack her, so Prema must do something before Lakshmi harms her. Prema asks Jia to calm down and shares a plan with her.
Meanwhile, the old lady notices Lakshmi’s body temperature rising and decides to take her to the hospital, as the medicine is not working. On the other side, Jia brings a Tantrik Baba home when no one else is there. Baba performs a pooja and asks the spirit to leave. Devi Maa, in Lakshmi’s form, comes downstairs. Jia asks Baba to capture the spirit since no one is home except them.
