The episode begins with Babaji on a call, telling someone that he has received a lucrative offer from a rich lady and plans to fool her to extract more money. Meanwhile, Sanjana tells Umesh that Gayatri made a mistake by bringing Babaji home. Gayatri overhears this and scolds Sanjana. Umesh supports Sanjana and rebukes Gayatri.
Karthik goes to the kitchen to collect his food, which was being reheated in the microwave. Lakshmi arrives, and just as they are about to open the oven, it explodes. Karthik sustains minor injuries. A worried Gayatri rushes him out of the kitchen. Babaji approaches Lakshmi and blames her for Karthik’s condition, making her doubt if she is truly the cause of his troubles. It is revealed that Babaji had deliberately cut the microwave wire. Later, Lakshmi notices the damaged wire and begins to suspect foul play.
Gayatri asks Lakshmi to stay away from Karthik to prevent further misfortunes, requesting her to do it for her sake. Lakshmi reluctantly agrees and approaches Babaji to learn about a ritual to protect Karthik. When Gayatri and Lakshmi meet him, Babaji instructs Lakshmi to perform the ritual. After she leaves, Babaji tells Gayatri that if Lakshmi becomes pregnant, separating her from Karthik will be difficult, so he has devised another plan. He recalls placing a snake in the location where Lakshmi was to perform the ritual.
While carrying out the ritual, Lakshmi is bitten by the snake and collapses. Karthik waits for her but, when she doesn’t return, he goes to search. Babaji sees Lakshmi unconscious, while Gayatri deliberately misleads Karthik by sending him to the storeroom, thinking she doesn’t want him to interrupt Lakshmi’s ritual. Babaji, on the other hand, believes that if Lakshmi dies, she cannot become pregnant.
Lakshmi manages to tie a cloth around her wound and regains consciousness. Meanwhile, Babaji hides his wine when Gayatri approaches. She informs him that Karthik is searching for Lakshmi and hopes the ritual is completed. Babaji assures her and demands 10 lakh rupees as per their deal, claiming Lakshmi is now out of her son’s life. Just as Gayatri is about to sign the cheque, Lakshmi returns and declares that she has completed the ritual. Shocked, Babaji asks if she is alright, as the ritual is extremely difficult. Lakshmi confidently replies that she overcame all obstacles, recalling how she used natural remedies to counter the snake venom. She leaves, saying Karthik must be waiting for her.
Gayatri tells Babaji that his plan has failed, but Babaji vows to execute a new one tomorrow. Gayatri thinks she cannot let Lakshmi stay even a single night with Karthik.
Karthik meets Lakshmi and asks where she went. She reassures him that she is fine and tells him not to worry. Karthik mentions his important recording the next day and says he wants her to hear it first. Lakshmi encourages him to sing, calling herself his biggest fan. After he finishes, she praises the song, predicting it will be a super hit. Sanjana watches them and thinks to herself that Gayatri is proud of her singer son, but she will shatter that pride. Lakshmi once again tells Karthik that his new song will be a success.
