The episode begins with Lakshmi asking Karan what happened. Karan asks her what she would do if Krish killed Jia. Lakshmi says that it won’t happen because Krish is not Karthik, and even if it were her Karthik, he would never harm anyone. Karan again asks what she would do if Krish actually killed Jia. Lakshmi remains silent, which frustrates Karan. Distracted by his thoughts, Karan almost meets with an accident, but Lakshmi quickly turns the steering wheel and saves them. She asks Karan to stop overthinking and reminds him that Karthik is no longer alive. Karan holds Lakshmi’s hand and prays to God not to separate her from him, saying that this is the first time he has ever asked for anything. Lakshmi then asks Karan to follow Krish’s car, as it has taken a right turn.
They follow the car to Jia’s place. Jia scolds Krish for spoiling their plan, saying they came to take revenge, but he fell in love with Lakshmi after seeing her. Jia says she was foolish to help him. Krish thanks Jia for helping him and says he no longer needs her help, adding that she should die. Shocked, Jia asks if he has lost his mind. Lakshmi and Karan witness everything through a glass window. Krish says he has gone mad in Lakshmi’s love and has no other option.
Suddenly, Dadi calls Karan and tells him that she and the family are trapped in the house with poisonous gas. Lakshmi urges Karan to rush home to save Dadi and the others, assuring him that she will handle Krish and Jia. Karan asks Lakshmi to promise that she will not confront them until he returns. Lakshmi agrees and asks him to leave quickly. Karan admits he has a bad feeling, but Lakshmi reassures him. Karan hugs Lakshmi and leaves.
Jia warns Krish to stop ruining their plan. Krish fires a shot, but Jia escapes and snatches the gun from him. Jia reminds him that she wrote this story and he cannot bring any plot twist. She accuses him of betraying her again for Lakshmi and calls him Karthik. Hearing this, Lakshmi wonders why Jia is calling Krish “Karthik.” Jia declares that Karthik will never change in this life. She threatens that if he cannot belong to her, he will belong to no one, and she cannot let Lakshmi have him. Calling him Karthik again, Jia shoots Krish. He collapses, and a terrified Lakshmi screams, “Karthik ji!”
Meanwhile, Karan reaches home and finds Dadi and the rest of the family safe. Dadi tells him that no one called him and that they are perfectly fine. Karan realizes it was all a trap to leave Lakshmi alone. He rushes back immediately.
Lakshmi enters the room calling out to Karthik and begs the injured man to open his eyes, saying that his Maha Lakshmi has returned. Karthik closes his eyes. Jia claps mockingly and tells Lakshmi that she cannot save Karthik because he has lost too much blood.
Jia then mocks Lakshmi for believing that Karthik returned for her through plastic surgery, saying such things only happen in movies. She adds that if Karthik were really alive, she would never have brought him to Lakshmi and would have escaped with him long ago. Jia then asks Krish to get up, saying their story is nearing its end. Krish suddenly opens his eyes and greets Lakshmi. Jia helps him stand up, and Lakshmi realizes that it was all a trap.
Krish tells Lakshmi that he is not foolish and had noticed her following him. Jia admits that Lakshmi was right and that she planted Krish deliberately. When Lakshmi asks why she did this, Jia says her Karthik died because of Lakshmi and she will not spare her without taking revenge. She reveals that she used Krish to defeat Lakshmi and declares that Lakshmi has finally fallen into their trap. Lakshmi looks around desperately and notices the door. Jia smugly tells her not to expect Karan, revealing that she herself called him pretending to be his Dadi and sent him home as part of the plan.
