The episode starts with Karthik telling Lakshmi that they still haven’t thought of any baby names. Lakshmi replies that they still have time. Just then, Karthik receives a call from his office, asking him to come to the studio immediately. He agrees and tells Lakshmi there’s a problem at the studio, so he needs to go and sort it out. He leaves.
Meanwhile, a worker calls Gayatri and says she has completed the task Gayatri assigned. Gayatri assures her she’ll send the money and feels relieved, thinking she has successfully separated Lakshmi and Karthik for the night, and tomorrow Babaji will carry out the next part of the plan.
The next day, Babaji asks Lakshmi to fetch Parijat leaves. Lakshmi says she has to accompany Karthik for his recording, but Gayatri insists she go with Babaji’s request. Lakshmi agrees. While walking, she spots a scorpion—the same kind that bit her yesterday—and grows suspicious of Babaji.
Gayatri then urges Babaji to execute his plan quickly to separate Karthik and Lakshmi, adding that she doesn’t want them to have a baby.
At breakfast, Karthik speaks to his team on the phone, saying he’s on his way for the recording. He starts coughing. Gayatri asks Indu to get water, but Indu isn’t there. Karthik goes to the kitchen and drinks water that Sanjana has secretly spiked. His voice changes, and Sanjana smirks, thinking this is her revenge for the slap she received from Gayatri. Gayatri offers to give him hot water, but Karthik says only Lakshmi can fix his voice.
Meanwhile, Lakshmi tries to collect Parijat leaves. Babaji causes a tree branch to fall on her, assuming it would injure her badly. However, Lakshmi survives again. She notices someone leaving the area and calls for help, but the person ignores her. She then sees a rope tied to the branch and realizes someone is trying to kill her. Determined to find out who it is, she struggles to free herself. Despite minor injuries, she escapes.
Back at the studio, Karthik tells his manager that his voice isn’t good enough to sing today. The manager insists the recording is crucial for his career and gives him an hour to recover. Gayatri gives Karthik herbal kadha, but he coughs after drinking it. Sanjana pretends to ward off the evil eye while secretly gloating that Karthik’s downfall—and Gayatri’s destruction—has begun. Karthik waits for Lakshmi.
Karthik arrives at the recording venue, but his voice still doesn’t cooperate. The producer asks the manager to call another singer. Karthik pleads for a chance, but the producer refuses. Just then, Lakshmi arrives and says Karthik will be fine in a few minutes if given some time. The producer agrees. Lakshmi gives Karthik a herbal drink, and his voice improves. Karthik asks where she’s been since morning, but Lakshmi lies, saying she went to the temple.
A new singer enters to record the song, but Karthik starts singing while looking at Lakshmi. The producer is impressed and cancels the replacement, awarding the contract to Karthik.
Later at home, Lakshmi notices red soil marks and recalls seeing the same in the jungle. She follows the trail, which leads to Babaji’s room. She realizes he’s behind the attacks on her. Lakshmi confronts Babaji, asking why he sent her for Parijat leaves while he was also in the jungle. Babaji denies it, but Lakshmi accuses him of trying to kill her and warns him to leave the house or she will expose him. Babaji refuses to go unless Gayatri asks him to, and tells Lakshmi to stop accusing him.
Lakshmi wonders how to expose him, while Babaji thinks he must escape with the money and jewellery before Gayatri discovers he’s a fraud.
