The episode starts with Dadi teasingly closing Karan’s mouth and telling him to close it or else a mosquito will fly inside. Dadi praises Lakshmi’s beauty and says she looks wonderful without her spectacles. She tells Lakshmi to never wear them again and wards off the evil eye. She asks Lakshmi not to hide her beauty with spectacles. Karan agrees with Dadi and asks Lakshmi not to wear them. Lakshmi says she needs them, but Karan tells her he took them to a technician and found out they are zero power, so she doesn’t need them. He says she looks good without them. Karthik doesn’t like this. Lakshmi says she will prepare tea for everyone.
She goes to the kitchen and prepares tea. Vyom secretly records Lakshmi from behind without her knowledge. Lakshmi feels someone watching her and turns around but sees no one. Vyom continues to record her while hiding behind a pillar. Lakshmi asks who is there, recalling the attack on her the previous night. She moves forward in tension and collides with Karthik. Karthik asks what happened. Lakshmi says someone is eyeing her and wants to harm her. Barkha tells Karthik not to pay attention to Lakshmi and sends him away. Barkha then tells Lakshmi that she trapped her brother and now wants to trap Karthik with her behavior. She warns Lakshmi to stay within limits and stay away from Karthik, or she will take her life too. She leaves.
Dadi tells Karan that they should leave tomorrow because Barkha, Vyom, and Bhavani are not at home, and it’s not safe to leave Lakshmi alone. Karan says Dr. Mehra came to Chandigarh for her, so it’s not right to miss the appointment. He says Lakshmi is not a child and can stay alone. Lakshmi agrees and sends them.
Someone breaks Lakshmi’s window by throwing a stone. Lakshmi asks who is there. She wonders who could be doing this when no one is at home and why the radio is glitching. She hears a male voice saying that women should stay within limits and that today he will show her her place. Lakshmi searches for her phone and finds it missing; the landline wire is also cut. She grows anxious and asks the person to come in front of her if he has the courage.
Vyom sees Lakshmi and thinks he hasn’t forgotten the insult she gave him on Diwali, and today he will teach her a lesson. Vyom removes the fuse. Lakshmi lights a candle. A masked Vyom enters the room and tries to molest her. Lakshmi struggles hard to escape.
Dadi tells Karan she feels something is wrong with Lakshmi. Karan says Lakshmi is acting this way to avoid the doctor’s visit. Karan then receives a call informing him that the doctor has left due to an emergency. They return home. Lakshmi attacks Vyom with a knife. Vyom hears the car sound and escapes, leaving Lakshmi behind. Karan and Dadi see the house in disarray and Lakshmi in shock. Lakshmi hugs Karan and explains what happened. Dadi goes to bring water. Lakshmi asks Karan if he did it. He asks her to calm down. Dadi gives her water and vows that she will not spare the culprit.
Later, Lakshmi thinks about the assault.

Precap: Lakshmi tells Karan that Vyom tried to misbehave with her, so she hit him with a vase. Barkha tells Karan that Lakshmi is cooking up a story. Karan tells Barkha and Vyom that he believes Lakshmi and will stand by her.
