The episode starts with Bhavani pretending to save Lakshmi from Karan. She sprays pepper spray into Karan’s eyes, leaving him dizzy and in pain. Vyom takes Karan to his room.
Lakshmi tells Dadi that Karan’s behaviour is strange and that she wants to take him away from home for a change. Bhavani refuses and says that Lakshmi cannot take her son anywhere and that she will send him to a mental asylum. Lakshmi insists that there is no need to send him to a mental asylum. However, Bhavani orders Lakshmi not to interfere in family matters and throws her out of the house. Lakshmi grows suspicious and decides to save Karan from being sent to the asylum.
Later, people from the mental asylum arrive to take Karan away. Lakshmi enters Karan’s room through the window and warns him. Due to the effect of the drugs, Karan behaves rashly. Lakshmi calms him by humming his favourite song and asks him to come with her to escape from the asylum staff.
Vyom and the ward boys open the door and suspect that Karan has escaped as the room is empty. Meanwhile, Bhavani spots Lakshmi taking Karan away and alerts Vyom, asking him to find Karan.
While escaping, Karan and Lakshmi share a cute eye-lock. Vyom checks the garden, but Lakshmi and Karan hide from him. Lakshmi then hires an auto and takes Karan away before anyone can stop her.
Later, Lakshmi gently adjusts Karan’s hair on the bus. Karan opens his eyes and looks at her.
Bhavani tries to instigate Dadi against Vanita but fails. Dadi prays for Karan wellbeing. Later Lakshmi sleeps and falls on Karan’s shoulder. He admires her.
