The episode starts with Bhavani deciding to leave the Kapoor house along with Krish. Karan asks Bhavani to stop and says she is not going anywhere. Dadi questions Karan about stopping her and says that if Bhavani stays, Krish will also remain in the house with them.
Karan reminds Dadi that she often used to say that relationships of the heart are stronger than blood relations. He tells her that Bhavani has never treated him like a stepson, so they should not treat Bhavani like a stepmother. Karan announces to the family that Krish will stay in the house with the respect he deserves. Krish thanks Karan but says he cannot stay in the house. When Karan asks why, Krish explains that wherever he stays, Jia will stay with him, and Lakshmi will never agree to that. Lakshmi agrees with Krish and asks him why he wants Jia to stay in the house. Krish confesses that he has fallen in love with Jia and that she stood by him when no one else did. Jia says she also developed feelings for Krish while supporting him, but that does not mean she can stay in the house. She prepares to leave, but Karan stops her and tells her that she will stay. When Lakshmi tries to object, Karan stops her and says that this is a big house and Lakshmi’s heart is also big enough to forgive them.
Lakshmi follows Karan to the room and asks him why he allowed Jia to stay. She reminds him that she has already warned him about how dangerous Jia is. Karan replies that Jia’s enmity with Lakshmi was because of Karthik, and now that Karthik is no more, everything will be fine. He asks Lakshmi to relax.
Jia asks Bhavani if she is wondering why Jia supported her. Jia tells Bhavani that Lakshmi is her enemy and also Bhavani’s enemy. She asks for Bhavani’s help in ruining Lakshmi. Bhavani agrees, as Jia has ensured Krish’s place in the house, and then leaves.
Krish meets Jia and asks about the next step of their plan. Jia says she wants to separate Lakshmi from Karan and destroy her. She tells Krish that if he wants Lakshmi out of the picture, he must help her. Krish agrees.
Karan admires Lakshmi after she gets ready and says something is missing. When Lakshmi asks what it is, Karan kisses her on the cheek. Lakshmi smiles and calls him shameless, while Karan teasingly says this is called being romantic.
During the pooja, Karan fills Lakshmi’s hairline with sindoor. Later, Lakshmi serves prasad to Jia. Jia sarcastically asks how Lakshmi can give her prasad after everything that has happened. She touches Lakshmi’s feet to seek blessings, but Lakshmi asks her to stop the drama. Jia hugs Lakshmi and whispers that her only goal is to ruin her and that she will begin that very night.
At night, Lakshmi recalls Jia’s warning. She notices Jia standing outside Dadi’s room with a knife in her hand and blood on it. Lakshmi rushes inside and sees blood on the blanket. As she moves toward Dadi, Jia stops her and claims that she has killed Dadi. Shocked, Lakshmi believes her and runs to inform Karan.
Lakshmi tells Karan that Jia has killed Dadi, and they both rush to Dadi’s room. There, they find Jia, Bhavani, and Krish attending to Dadi, who is perfectly fine. Lakshmi asks Dadi if she is alright, saying she saw blood earlier. She questions Jia about what she did. Jia calmly says that Dadi is absolutely fine and suggests that Lakshmi must have imagined everything.

Precap: Lakshmi tells Karan that Jia will never change and has come to the house only to take revenge on her. Karan assures Lakshmi that he believes her, while Jia secretly overhears their conversation.

Karan’s blind trust in Jia creates a dangerous opening, putting Lakshmi’s fears at risk once again. Jia’s calculated mind games and fake innocence signal the beginning of a dark revenge plot inside the Kapoor house. With illusions, lies, and manipulation taking centre stage, Lakshmi’s biggest battle is just beginning.
