The episode starts with Lakshmi pointing a knife at Gayatri. Gayatri asks, “What are you doing?” Lakshmi says, “Now nothing can happen, it’s already too late,” and leaves with some fruits. Gayatri wonders why Lakshmi is behaving this way.
Lakshmi goes to Karthik’s room. He tells Lakshmi to make Jia drink the spiked energy drink during her workout so that he can get Jia’s signature on some papers. Lakshmi leaves, taking the tablet with her.
Meanwhile, Karthik goes to Jia, who is working out. He pretends to support her. Jia thinks to herself, “Lakshmi has made you a drama king just like her.” Lakshmi arrives. Karthik distracts Jia while Lakshmi mixes the medicine into Jia’s water bottle and leaves. Jia drinks the water.
Karthik shows Jia a certificate, saying he has bought a star in her name. Jia calls him the best and hugs him. Karthik asks Jia to sign the papers. Jia signs, but before signing the last set of papers, she feels dizzy and falls unconscious. Karthik makes her sleep and leaves.
Later, Karthik realizes he left his phone in Jia’s room. When he returns, he finds Jia awake on the bed, using her phone. He quietly leaves to talk to Lakshmi.
Lakshmi, meanwhile, breaks her and Karthik’s wedding photo. Karthik meets Lakshmi and asks why Jia didn’t faint after drinking the spiked water. Lakshmi tells him to stay away and leaves the room. Karthik wonders what’s wrong with Lakshmi and starts looking for her.
It is revealed that Jia is hiding Lakshmi. Jia instructs Antara to act properly and take medicine whenever she feels like she’s losing consciousness. She warns Antara not to let anyone know she is Antara. Jia tells Antara to talk to Karthik lovingly and call him “Karthik Ji.”
Later, Lakshmi goes to Karthik and apologizes for her behavior. Karthik asks if she really spiked Jia’s drink since Jia never fainted. Lakshmi says, “Maybe I added the wrong tablet.” She takes Karthik with her.
Jia thinks to herself, “Karthik doesn’t know it’s Antara, not Lakshmi.” Jia recalls how she switched Lakshmi and Antara’s places. Jia asks Antara if she wants to meet her daughter. Antara agrees. Jia reminds her of what she had instructed earlier.
Lakshmi realizes she’s in Antara’s place, tied to a bed. Lakshmi tries to signal Raghuveer, but Raghuveer doesn’t understand. The hospital staff makes Lakshmi sit in a healthcare van. Later, While in the van, Lakshmi sees Karthik at a traffic signal. She escapes from the nurses and runs toward him, but Karthik drives away before she can reach him.
