The episode begins with Lakshmi spotting Jia and wondering how to enter the house. Jia gets into a car and thanks Raghuveer for helping her. A flashback shows Jia discovering that Karthik has found out about Lakshmi’s whereabouts. She had then called Raghuveer and instructed Raghuveer to make Karthik hate Lakshmi. In the present, Raghuveer, while on a call with Jia, confronts her, saying that she wants to forcefully marry Karthik and has made him work for her by threatening him. Jia dismisses his emotions and tells him to stop getting sentimental and focus on separating Karthik and Lakshmi. She then cuts the call. At that moment, Veda arrives and informs Raghuveer that Lakshmi is not at home.
Elsewhere, Karthik is seen burning his memories with Lakshmi. Smoke emerges from his room, alarming Umesh and Gayatri, who rush inside. Lakshmi, hearing their shouts, grows worried. Umesh asks Karthik why he is burning his wedding photos with Lakshmi. Karthik says he wants to forget his past. Umesh insists that Karthik loves Lakshmi, but Karthik declares that he has realised Jia is his true love and that Lakshmi was a mistake. Lakshmi, who arrives just then, is shocked to overhear his words. Gayatri informs Karthik that a pandit is coming to fix a date for his marriage with Jia and asks him to let go of the past. Karthik replies that he is already doing that. Heartbroken, Lakshmi quietly walks away.
Back at home, Raghuveer grows concerned as Lakshmi hasn’t been answering his calls and worries about managing Veda without her. When Lakshmi returns, he questions her about leaving without informing him. Lakshmi assures him that she is fine, but Raghuveer asks her what really happened. Lakshmi breaks down and says that Karthik no longer loves her, considers her a mistake, and that she saw hate for her in his eyes. She adds that while her heart refuses to believe it, she saw it with her own eyes. Raghuveer responds that maybe Karthik never truly loved her. Lakshmi disagrees and says she has experienced Karthik’s love. She suspects there is some conspiracy behind his behavior and resolves to talk to Karthik and clear the misunderstanding. Raghuveer feels guilty and thinks to himself that he made a mistake by creating a rift between them. Seeing her in pain, he prepares to confess the truth, but they are interrupted by Veda’s screams.
They rush to her room and administer oxygen to stabilize her condition. Raghuveer tells Lakshmi how Veda’s health worries him constantly. Lakshmi comforts him and assures him that a donor will be found soon. She then asks what he was trying to tell her earlier. Raghuveer brushes it off, saying he only wanted to talk about Veda and asks her to spend time with her. Lakshmi agrees, while Raghuveer silently apologizes to her for hiding the truth for the sake of his daughter.
Meanwhile, Jia opens the curtain and asks Karthik to wear a red suit to match hers. Karthik angrily responds that he doesn’t even want to see her face, let alone marry her. Back at home, Lakshmi drops Veda’s ball, which rolls under an almirah. She notices a light coming from behind it and tries to move it. Raghuveer stops her, saying it is Antara’s room and contains her belongings. Lakshmi assures him she won’t go inside. However, she makes up her mind to go to Karthik’s house and uncover the truth.
