The episode starts with Lakshmi and Sanjana forcing Jia to remove the ghoonghat. Lakshmi lifts the veil and is shocked to see Jia disguised as Imarti, with dark makeup. Lakshmi says, “You can manage the complexion, but what about the eyes?” She orders her to open them. Jia opens her eyes, which turn out to be red because she had applied chili powder to escape the situation. Lakshmi questions her about what she did. Jia cleverly creates a situation that makes it look like Lakshmi’s doubts are stressing her. Karthik scolds Lakshmi and says, “Stop doubting Imarti. She is not Jia. I will never forgive you if something happens to our baby.” Lakshmi apologizes to Jia.
Later, Lakshmi consoles Karthik. She thinks, “Jia is not pregnant with our baby, and Karthik won’t be able to bear the truth. I wish I were pregnant.” She prays to Maata Rani. Karthik recalls that Devi Maa, in Lakshmi’s form, had ordered him to give a box to her. Lakshmi opens the bag and finds a golden coconut. Sanjana arrives and tells Lakshmi that it’s considered very lucky, and whoever is destined to become pregnant will receive it. Lakshmi places the coconut in front of Maata Rani and prays for guidance.
Meanwhile, Gayatri packs ₹10 lakhs in cash. On her way out, she bumps into Lakshmi. She lies, saying she is going to give old clothes to the driver. Lakshmi notices a money bundle that falls and grows suspicious. She secretly follows Gayatri to the hospital, where Gayatri hands the money to a doctor, asking her to keep quiet. The doctor says, “You must be the first mother-in-law who doesn’t want her daughter-in-law to be pregnant.” Gayatri reminds her that she has been paid and warns her not to reveal that Lakshmi is capable of becoming a mother. Lakshmi overhears everything. Outside, Gayatri spots Lakshmi. Lakshmi confronts her, asking why she did it. Lakshmi then realizes she can become pregnant and leaves for home.
At home, Lakshmi comes home and hugs Karthik tightly. Gayatri also returns and feels relieved seeing Lakshmi nor exposing her. Lakshmi chooses not to reveal Gayatri’s conspiracy to Karthik. He notices her sadness and asks the reason. She says she is missing her family. He suggests, “Meet Mangal, I’ll invite Mangal Bhabhi to our navratri party.” He also asks Gayatri to arrange the best band for dandiya. Jia excitedly says she loves dandiya, but Karthik reminds her, “You’re pregnant, so you should rest.” Lakshmi then calls Mangal and invites her to the party. Mangal agrees, and both eagerly look forward to meeting each other.
