The episode begins with Karthik locking himself in his room. Lakshmi stands outside, pleading with him to open the door, saying she wants to talk. Just then, Gayatri stops Lakshmi and sarcastically asks if she can’t see that Karthik doesn’t want to speak to her. She taunts Lakshmi for accusing her of attempted murder and tells her to be ashamed. Lakshmi fires back, accusing Gayatri of trying to kill her and now having the audacity to scold her. She recalls how she once respected Gayatri like a mother, but Gayatri always wanted her out of the house. When Gayatri raises her hand to slap her, Lakshmi grabs it and firmly warns her that she is no longer the old Lakshmi who could be crushed at will. She vows to fight back this time—“an eye for an eye.” With that, Lakshmi walks away.
Meanwhile, Jia is shown upset over Lakshmi’s return to the Nigam mansion. Raghuveer calls Jia and asks if Lakshmi has arrived. Jia angrily responds that Lakshmi entered the mansion in a palanquin and danced around Karthik. She accuses Raghuveer of failing to control Lakshmi or worse, double-crossing her. Raghuveer calmly tells Jia that he has no reason to betray her, especially when she is helping find a donor for his daughter. He says his daughter’s well-being is his top priority and that he wants Lakshmi close because Veda is sick. He also suggests that if Jia truly wants to separate Lakshmi and Karthik, they must work together. Jia agrees and ends the call.
Raghuveer then calls Lakshmi to inform her that Jia now suspects him. Lakshmi advises Raghuveer to keep pretending to be on Jia’s side so they can learn her next move. Raghuveer agrees and ends the call.
Later, Lakshmi sees Sanjana coming out of Karthik’s room with a food plate. She asks if Karthik hasn’t eaten. Sanjana says she knows Karthik well—when he’s disturbed, he doesn’t eat anything. Lakshmi takes the food and says she will feed him herself. She asks Sanjana if she knows why Karthik agreed to marry Jia, but Sanjana replies that nobody knows; they’re all baffled. Lakshmi vows to find out the truth, and Sanjana agrees.
Lakshmi enters Karthik’s room and tries to feed him, but he refuses and shouts at her. Lakshmi puts food into his mouth and tells him not to spit it out, saying it would be disrespectful to the food. She then ties his hands behind his back and feeds him forcibly. While feeding him, she realizes how close they are and shyly backs away. Karthik breaks the zip tie and walks away after making a sarcastic remark. Lakshmi notices his hand is injured and feels concerned.
Jia then confronts Lakshmi, telling her to understand her place in Karthik’s life and leave the house if she has any shame. Lakshmi firmly replies that the house belongs to her and that it’s Jia who is forcing herself on Karthik. When Jia tries to choke her, Lakshmi grabs her by the neck and warns her before walking off. Jia is left stunned, wondering where Lakshmi’s sudden confidence is coming from.
Karthik is seen playing a video game when Lakshmi approaches and pleads for just five minutes to clear all misunderstandings. Karthik ignores her and walks away. Shortly after, Jia receives a message from Karthik asking her to meet him alone because he wants to talk. Jia feels excited, thinking that Karthik finally wants to be with her.
Jia arrives in a decorated room filled with balloons and gets thrilled. However, Lakshmi appears instead of Karthik. Jia angrily asks what she’s doing there and where Karthik is. Lakshmi reveals that she sent the message, not Karthik. Jia demands to know how she dared to do this. Lakshmi throws juice on Jia’s face and locks her in the room. She also places a speaker outside the room so that no one can hear Jia shouting for help.
Meanwhile, Karthik reflects on Lakshmi’s words and decides to talk to her. He sends her a message. Lakshmi sees the message and heads out to meet him. However, Gayatri intercepts her, uses a smoke substance to knock her unconscious, and takes her away.
Gayatri then removes her disguise. A flashback reveals that Jia had threatened Gayatri—if she didn’t stop Lakshmi from meeting Karthik, she would be thrown out of the house and possibly jailed. As Gayatri looks at the unconscious Lakshmi, she says that if Lakshmi thought she could separate her from her son, she was completely mistaken.
