The episode starts with Karthik struggling to concentrate during the recording. He cancels it midway. His assistant informs him that his wife has come to meet him. Karthik asks the assistant to tell Lakshmi that he is busy recording.
Meanwhile, Lakshmi plans to surprise Karthik with a bunch of flowers. However, when she reaches, the assistant repeats that Karthik is busy. Lakshmi decides to go inside and is heartbroken to see Karthik free, realizing that he lied to her.
Lakshmi returns home, upset, and nearly slips. Sanjana catches her in time and asks what happened. Lakshmi confides in her about Karthik’s changed behavior since she came back from the hospital, especially regarding kids. Sanjana hints that Karthik might have lost interest in her. Lakshmi defends him, but Sanjana manipulates her by saying that she must give more attention to Karthik before he slips away. Lakshmi agrees, while Sanjana smirks secretly.
Later at night, when Karthik enters the room, he sees Lakshmi already asleep. He lies down beside her, only to realize it’s a pillow. Lakshmi switches on the light and questions why he always waits for her to sleep before coming to bed. She confronts him about his distant behavior and asks if she has done something wrong. Karthik tells her not to overthink, but Lakshmi insists that he is avoiding her and dodging conversations about kids.
She breaks down, asking if he doesn’t love her anymore. She demands to know why he has changed and why he is ignoring the topic of children. Karthik tries to leave, but Lakshmi stops him and demands answers. Finally, Karthik confesses that their dreams have shattered and that they cannot become parents. Shocked, Lakshmi tells him to stop joking, but Karthik insists it’s the truth. She feels broken, realizing she cannot become a mother.
To console her, Karthik quickly says that the problem lies with him—his medical reports revealed that he cannot father a child. Lakshmi hugs him and reassures him, saying, “I need only you. We can overcome this problem just like we have faced all others together.”
Meanwhile, Gayatri is seen paying a doctor for lying to Karthik that Lakshmi cannot conceive. The doctor warns her not to let the couple consult anyone else, or the truth will come out. Gayatri confidently replies that she will separate them before that happens.
Later, Lakshmi surprises Karthik with a movie night on the terrace. She tells him, “Problems only strengthen our bond. So, tell me, which movie shall we watch?” She opens the laptop, and Karthik feels happy seeing her cheerful. The two start watching the movie together.
