The episode starts with Lakshmi experiencing hallucinations. Barkha cooks up a story, claiming she saw Lakshmi lighting a diya under a tree last night. Barkha suggests that Lakshmi might be possessed by a ghost.
Dadi goes to Lakshmi, but Lakshmi pushes her away and asks her to stay away. Barkha comments on Lakshmi’s behaviour and tells Dadi that she will take Lakshmi to a Babaji she knows, asking Dadi to remain at home as Lakshmi might attack her again. Dadi agrees. Bhavani and Barkha tie Lakshmi up and drag her away.
Lakshmi is unconscious in Barkha’s car. Bhavani asks Barkha to explain what she is planning to do with Lakshmi. Barkha reminds Bhavani that she wanted Lakshmi out of the house, so she is helping her.
Barkha then pays her henchmen and instructs them to make sure Lakshmi never returns home. The henchmen take Lakshmi away.
Dadi worries about Lakshmi. Bhavani and Barkha return home with injuries on their bodies. Dadi asks them where Lakshmi is.
A flashback shows Barkha telling Bhavani that they need to act like victims when they return. They scratch themselves to look injured.
Bhavani and Barkha lie to Dadi, claiming that they were taking Lakshmi to Babaji, but she attacked them midway and escaped from the car. Hearing this, Dadi reprimands them for losing Lakshmi. Karan arrives and comforts Dadi. She tells him everything. Karan says there is no such thing as ghosts. He asks Barkha where they last saw Lakshmi. Barkha says Lakshmi escaped near Chandrapur Road. Karan leaves to search for her.
Meanwhile, Barkha’s henchwoman tries to whip Lakshmi. Lakshmi regains consciousness, grabs the whip, threatens the henchmen, and escapes.
Barkha talks to Karthik and asks if they can get married the next day, adding that they can wait if he hasn’t gotten over his ex-wife. Karthik recalls Gayatri telling him that Lakshmi had already sent divorce papers with her signature and wanted to end their marriage. Gayatri convinces him to sign them. Karthik signs the divorce papers.
Karthik tells Barkha that his ex-wife left him when he needed her the most and that his previous marriage was the biggest mistake of his life. He says he is ready to marry Barkha. Barkha becomes excited.
Lakshmi continues to run from the henchmen. Karan searches for her on the road. Lakshmi collapses. Karan’s car passes by, but he doesn’t notice her. The henchmen lift Lakshmi and take her away. Karan feels he saw someone behind and reverses the car.
Barkha’s henchmen tie Lakshmi to a wooden pole and set fire around her. They record the scene live and send it to Barkha, informing her that the work is done. Barkha tells them to finish the job and leave.
Karthik arrives to meet Barkha. She accidentally drops her phone but quickly picks it up and cuts the call. Karthik asks if she has seen Lakshmi, saying he wanted to personally give Lakshmi the good news of their marriage. Barkha tells him she will inform him if she sees her. Karthik leaves.
Lakshmi regains consciousness and cries for help. Karan reaches the spot and sees Lakshmi tied to the pole, surrounded by fire.
It is shown that after reversing his car, Karan got down and saw Lakshmi’s broken bangles on the road. He asks a passing beggar about her, and the beggar tells him where he last saw Lakshmi.
Karan confronts Barkha’s henchmen to save Lakshmi, but they block his way.
Episode ends.
Precap: Karan brings Lakshmi home in his arms. He tells the family that Lakshmi is injured and needs rest. Karan sends Karthik out of the room to give him some privacy with his wife. Karthik leaves.
