The episode starts with Karthik rushing to help a person stuck on the terrace. He finds an unconscious lady, not realizing that she is Lakshmi, and goes to help her. Swetha arrives there and takes Lakshmi with her.
The next day, Lakshmi wakes up and asks Swetha how she ended up there. Swetha says, “Yesterday, I got tense when you didn’t answer my calls, so I went to the office. I saw a guy running to the terrace, followed him, and that’s how I found you.” Lakshmi asks who that guy was. Swetha replies that he works in their company. Lakshmi says to inform her when Swetha sees him again, so she can thank him.
Lakshmi then reminds Swetha that today is the event and they need to be there. Swetha says Barkha locked her on the terrace and suggests they shouldn’t go back, adding that they should find another job instead. Lakshmi insists that they must go, or people will think they are scared. Swetha agrees.
Meanwhile, the singer tells Karan that he got another opportunity with ten times more pay and is leaving. Karan gets furious. Lakshmi and Swetha arrive at the office just then. Karan slaps the singer and, seeing Lakshmi, says he doesn’t like hearing “no.” The singer warns Karan that he’ll regret it and leaves. Karan goes to his room angrily. Barkha comes to him and says she heard about the singer backing out, suggesting Karthik for the performance as he has experience. Karan agrees, saying he has no other choice. Barkha feels proud of herself for tricking the singer and making him drop out. She messages Karthik, asking him to sing at the event. Karthik reads the message and wonders how he can perform without lyrics but decides to make the event successful anyway. He feels thankful to Barkha, while Barkha thinks she can go to any extent to bring Karthik closer to her.
Barkha and Gyabi prepare for the event. Barkha tells the models that she won’t let them on stage if she doesn’t like their style. After she leaves, Lakshmi comes to the models and motivates them, helping them overcome their pressure and build confidence. The models thank her. Karan observes this and thinks Lakshmi hasn’t given him the lyrics, wondering how Karthik will perform. Barkha spots Lakshmi and questions her presence. Lakshmi replies that she is there to do her job. Barkha then asks Lakshmi to deliver the singer’s costume to him.
Karan warns Karthik not to mess up his stage. He tells him that the company’s reputation is in his hands and threatens to destroy his career if he fails. Karthik says he needs lyrics to perform but doesn’t have them. Karan orders him to get them at any cost. Lakshmi comes to Karthik’s room to give him the jacket. When she knocks, Karan opens the door and doesn’t allow her to meet Karthik. Karan accuses Lakshmi of trying to ruin his show. Lakshmi explains she only came to deliver the jacket to the lead singer. Karan snatches it from her and tells her to leave. Lakshmi quietly walks away.
The event begins. Karan tells Barkha he hopes Karthik performs well but admits he doesn’t trust him. Barkha assures Karan that appearance matters the most and she has personally handled everything. Swetha overhears Barkha taking full credit for Lakshmi’s work and feels hurt.
Swetha goes to Lakshmi and complains about Barkha not mentioning her name even once. Lakshmi tells Swetha not to worry about it and asks her to let it go.
Later, Vyom sees Lakshmi alone and decides to teach her a lesson. He spreads rice-light strings on the floor and switches off the lights. When Lakshmi steps on them, she gets tangled. Vyom pours water nearby to electrocute her. Lakshmi notices the water and shouts for help.
Karan hears Lakshmi’s voice and rushes to help her. Vyom pushes Lakshmi and flees. Lakshmi doesn’t see Vyom but sees Karan and misunderstands that he was behind the attack. Karan mocks Lakshmi and says he wishes he could take her to the terrace and push her off. Lakshmi retorts and asks him to leave her hand.
