The episode starts with Shanti visiting Karthik’s house and greeting Gayatri. Gayatri rudely questions why she came. Shanti says she has become the street Adhyaksha and is leading the Ganapati Utsav, so she came to collect a donation from her. Gayatri insults Shanti by calling her a beggar and pushes her to the floor. She orders the guards to throw Shanti out and leaves. Sanjana sends the guards away and consoles Shanti, saying that she herself endures Gayatri’s insults every day and today Shanti had to face the same. Shanti warns that Gayatri will soon face the consequences. Sanjana urges Shanti to teach Gayatri a lesson immediately.
Meanwhile, Gayatri and her friends enjoy their kitty party. Shanti appears before them and creates a scene. Gayatri takes her aside, throws money at her, and orders her to leave. Shanti says she has come to share Gayatri’s sadness. Sanjana secretly places a mic nearby. When Gayatri asks what sadness, Shanti says she heard that Karthik cannot have children. Gayatri’s friends overhear this and start gossiping about whether Karthik has a problem. Shocked, Gayatri drags Shanti aside and tells her to leave. But Gayatri’s friends question her if Karthik is impotent. Gayatri denies it, says Shanti is lying, cancels the kitty party, and sends her friends away. She then warns Shanti not to spread false rumors. Just then, Sanjana arrives and says she herself heard Karthik telling Lakshmi that he is impotent, so Gayatri should stop blaming them.
Later, Lakshmi packs for a picnic. Gayatri scolds her for making Karthik feel low. Lakshmi explains that she only wants to cheer him up as he is upset with the medical reports saying he cannot father a child. But Gayatri insists that the problem lies with Lakshmi, not Karthik, and that he lied only to protect her feelings. She adds that Lakshmi has failed to give the family an heir. Karthik overhears and tries to stop Gayatri, but she continues. Lakshmi then asks Karthik to swear on her and tell the truth if she really cannot become a mother. Karthik admits it, leaving Lakshmi shattered. She runs away and locks herself inside the storeroom.
Karthik pleads with her to open the door, but she cries in despair. He finally enters through the window. Lakshmi asks if he is ashamed of her. Karthik assures her that he isn’t, he’s only worried about her. Lakshmi breaks down saying Gayatri is right and because of her, his family will never be fulfilled. Karthik comforts her, reminding her that she is in this condition because she once saved his mother. He hugs her, tells her he is lucky to have her, and confesses his love.
Meanwhile, Umesh scolds Gayatri for revealing the truth to Lakshmi. Gayatri argues that she cannot bear her son’s defamation and so she deleted Lakshmi’s posts. Later, Gayatri sees Karthik and Lakshmi happy together and makes a decision to separate them and asks Pandit to arrange pooja.
