.The episode starts with Lakshmi visiting Dr. Arora with Jia’s medical reports. She shows him the reports and asks if Jia’s condition is truly serious, as she has been behaving like a child. Dr. Arora says Jia’s condition is indeed dangerous — she could slip into a coma if she experiences stress. He warns Lakshmi to keep Jia away from any shocks, or it could be fatal. He adds that Jia must remain under constant supervision. Lakshmi agrees and leaves.
Once she’s gone, the doctor calls Jia and informs her that he told Lakshmi exactly what she instructed. Jia recalls how she tampered with Lakshmi’s phone and arranged for her to meet this doctor.
Lakshmi begins to wonder why she feels Jia is perfectly fine, despite what the doctor said. She remembers the lunch date planned by Karthik. When she checks her phone, she sees it’s switched off and asks the driver to start the car. The driver tries but the car doesn’t start.
Meanwhile, Karthik waits for Lakshmi, having made all the arrangements. Jia pretends to fall while playing and calls Karthik for help. Karthik rushes to her. Umesh asks what happened, and Karthik replies that Jia is not feeling well. They take her to her room. Karthik then receives a call.
Back with Lakshmi, the driver pretends to fix the car and tells her it will take time. Lakshmi tries to hire an auto instead. The car driver secretly calls Jia and tells her that he did what she asked. Jia pays him.
Later, Lakshmi arrives home late and sees Karthik waiting for her. She apologizes. Karthik questions why she went to Dr. Arora’s clinic without telling him, especially since they called him when her phone wasn’t reachable.
Lakshmi explains that she wanted to cross-check the reports, as she suspects Jia is pretending and trying to separate them. Karthik asks if the doctor confirmed Jia is fine. Lakshmi says the doctor confirmed the injury is real and visible in the MRI. Karthik says he’s glad she cleared her doubts, and asks her to trust him and support him in helping Jia recover.
Lakshmi agrees but says something still feels off about Jia. Karthik reassures her that no one can come between them and asks her to trust him. Lakshmi agrees. Jia watches them from a distance and smiles.
Lakshmi thinks about how to prove Jia is lying. She notices a plant has fallen. Upon checking, she sees the plant has been burned by some kind of chemical. She decides to tell Karthik.
Meanwhile, Jia pretends to wake up. Karthik gives her medicine, and she acts like she takes it before starting to play with him. Lakshmi arrives and takes Karthik with her, saying she has proof that Jia is faking it. She shows him the plant and explains it was burned. But when Karthik looks, the plant appears completely fine. Lakshmi is confused and asks why he doesn’t trust her. Karthik asks her to calm down and takes her away. Jia smirks and recalls how she swapped the burned plant with a healthy one.
Umesh tells Lakshmi he also feels Jia has dark intentions. Lakshmi agrees, saying both he and Sanjana are right — Jia is pretending to be ill and trying to create misunderstandings between her and Karthik. She adds that Karthik now thinks her mental state is unstable. Umesh advises her to be cautious with her next steps and avoid letting misunderstandings ruin her relationship. He assures her of his support. Lakshmi thanks him and decides to expose Jia.
