The episode starts with Karan fighting with Barkha’s henchmen to rescue Lakshmi. Lakshmi is shown to be losing consciousness due to the smoke. Karan takes a wooden torch and threatens Barkha’s henchmen and they run away from there. Karan rescues Lakshmi from the fire carries her in his arms.
Karthik gets ready to leave Karan’s house. Karthik opens the door and he sees Karan carrying unconscious Lakshmi in his arms. Karthik asks Karan what happened to Lakshmi. Dadi feels relieved Lakshmi has returned. Karan says Lakshmi needs rest and asks all the family members not to dis turn them.
Karan puts Lakshmi to rest on bed. Dadi asks Karan what happened to Lakshmi. Barkha asks Karan where has she found Lakshmi. Karan says it is a good thing he has found Lakshmi if not Lakshmi would have been burnt. Karan says to Dadi and family how he has rescued Lakshmi from some goons. Karan says after he rescued Lakshmi he took her to Dr Mathur and he said there was snake poison in Lakshmi’s body. Karan says the doctor took out the poison and asks dadi not to worry. Karan says he doesn’t know who would do all of this with Lakshmi. Dadi questions Barkha as she said that Lakshmi ran away from them. Barkha sticks to their story and says after escaping from them Lakshmi should have ran into some scammers. Karan says they will find out the truth once Lakshmi wakes up. Dadi, Barkha and Bhavani leave from there. Karan asks Karthik to give them some privacy as Lakshmi needs rest. Karthik leaves from there.
The next day, Lakshmi wakes up and sees all the house is decorated. Lakshmi asks Dadi what is this decoration for. Dadi says she also doesn’t know the reason for this decoration.
Karthik says to Dadi how would she know as this is a surprise. Karthik says he wanted to give the good news himself. Karthik feeds the laddoo to Lakshmi and says to Lakshmi that he and Barkha are going to get married today. Dadi asks Karthik and Barkha how are they going to do it today as there is no auspicious date today. Dadi reminds Karthik that their wedding date is next month.
Karthik says to Kapoor family that he wants to make Barkha his life partner as soon as possible so there is nothing wrong with getting married today. Dadi agrees.
Karthik makes a request to Lakshmi saying there is a ritual in the Nigam family that the bride gets ready by her Bhabhi. Karthik asks Lakshmi if she will do it. Lakshmi stays silent. Karan agrees on behalf of Lakshmi. Karthik later leaves from there with Barkha.
Karan comforts Lakshmi saying it should be tough for her seeing all of this. Karan says she should be in pain. Lakshmi says pain has become normal to her and leaves from there.
Karthik gets a bridal dress from a servant. Karthik thinks about Lakshmi as this bridal Lehanga has been worn by Lakshmi on their wedding day.
Karthik comes to Lakshmi and asks Lakshmi to wear this bridal Lehanga to Barkha. Lakshmi sees it is her bridal Lehanga and gets shocked. Karthik comments on Lakshmi. Karthik says to Lakshmi that she has downtime that belongs to him and says it is the Mangalsutra that he has given her. Lakshmi brings the Mangalsutra and gives it to Karthik. Karthik comments on Lakshmi. Lakshmi leaves from there. Karthik thinks Lakshmi has given him pain by leaving him and becoming another person’s wife. Karthik decides to make Lakshmi suffer by making her see how he is going to belong to someone else not her.

Precap:- Karthik orders Barkha that she has to wear the Lehanga he has given to her for the wedding even if Barkha doesn’t like it. Karan witnesses it.
Karan puts Karthik to the wall and asks Karthik how dare he talk to his sister like that. Karthik reminds Karan that Barkha is going to be his wife and asks Karan to get habituated to it. Lakshmi seperates Karan from Karthik. Karthik asks Lakshmi to handle Karan and satirically calls her Bhabhi ji.
