The episode starts with Karthik entering the stage. Karan prays to God to save the event. Maddy makes fun of Karan for remembering God, but Karan asks him not to make fun of him. Barkha tells Karan to trust Karthik.
Lakshmi notices that Karan didn’t give the jacket to the singer, so she goes to hand it over herself. Karthik is unable to sing, and seeing the commotion among the crowd, Karan sends him off the stage and tries to handle the situation. Lakshmi learns from a guard that the singer left the stage because he couldn’t perform. She places her lyrics in the jacket and sends it to Karthik, thinking, “For the first time, I’m helping someone. I never shared my lyrics with anyone because they only belonged to Karthik, but this time, I’m doing it since the singer faced humiliation on stage.”
Feeling frustrated, Karthik receives the coat from the guard but throws it away, saying it’s not needed. Then he notices a chit in the pocket and feels happy reading the full lyrics. He returns to the stage and begins singing. Karan is surprised and asks everyone to enjoy the performance. Karthik sings the song, unaware that Lakshmi wrote it.
Lakshmi recognizes his voice and realizes that Karthik is the singer. She imagines being reunited with him on stage but then snaps out of her dream, recalling Karthik’s past message — “Stay away from me, or you’ll see me dead.” She quietly leaves the place while everyone enjoys Karthik’s performance.
After the song, Karthik asks the watchman who gave him the jacket and lyrics paper. The watchman says, “She just went that way.” Karthik rushes in that direction, wondering who helped him regain his respect and fame. He spots Barkha and assumes she was the one who sent it. He thanks her, and Barkha, noticing Lakshmi nearby, realizes it was actually Lakshmi who wrote it. However, she takes the credit for the song. Karthik says, “I got my name back because of you.” Barkha replies, “I’m very happy for you — this is the beginning of our new journey.” She prevents him from seeing Lakshmi and takes him away to meet his fans.
Karan praises Karthik and calls him the star of the day. Karthik thanks Karan and Barkha for their support. Barkha introduces Karthik to her family. Dadi praises him, and Barkha’s mother notices her daughter’s liking for Karthik. She takes Barkha aside and says, “I can see that you like Karthik. You need to make him yours.”
Meanwhile, Lakshmi washes her face at the washroom basin. Swetha tells her she doesn’t look well and suggests visiting a doctor, but Lakshmi insists she’s fine. They suddenly hear a voice and rush to see Kalyani, who has fallen while practicing for her performance. Kalyani tells Lakshmi, “Barkha will kill me. My performance is next!”
When the anchor announces Kalyani’s act, Swetha asks if anyone else knows the dance steps. Kalyani pleads with Lakshmi, “You taught me the steps, so please perform instead of me — otherwise, Barkha will fire me.” Swetha also urges Lakshmi to do it. Lakshmi hesitates, thinking Karthik might recognize her. She says, “Barkha doesn’t want me to perform.” Swetha insists, “You’re wearing a mask, so it’s fine. Help her out.”
