The episode begins with a doctor entering the file room and noticing that the cupboard is open.
Just then, a nurse arrives and sends the doctor to another ward. Meanwhile, Lakshmi reads the report and discovers that the deceased’s name is Vaishnavi, who died a day earlier due to a heart attack. She decides to submit the report to the police to prove her innocence. Hearing approaching footsteps, she hides under a stretcher. The nurse moves the stretcher out, and Lakshmi cleverly misleads him, managing to escape with the report.
Lakshmi wonders why Karthik hasn’t arrived.
She tries calling him, but the call doesn’t connect. Feeling uneasy, she sends him a message and heads to the meeting location. There, she sees someone in a hoodie near Karthik’s car. Mistaking the person for Karthik, she hugs them and says that they’ve succeeded. The person removes the hoodie—it’s Jia. Jia smirks and asks if Lakshmi is surprised. She boasts that she’s ten times smarter than Lakshmi and snatches the postmortem report, tearing it to pieces.
Lakshmi asks how Jia knew about the report.
Jia reveals that she intercepted Lakshmi’s message to Karthik and lured her to the location. She claims she had been sending messages from Karthik’s phone since that morning. Lakshmi demands to know where Karthik is. Jia chillingly says, “You won’t see Karthik again in this lifetime.” Enraged, Lakshmi attacks her, but Jia overpowers her and warns her to be afraid, revealing that she has kidnapped Karthik and now has the upper hand. She mocks Lakshmi, asking what she plans to do next. Lakshmi demands proof that she has Karthik.
Just then, a hoarding begins to fall.
Lakshmi drags Jia under it, shouting that she wants to know about Karthik—even if it means dying with her. Jia pushes her away and escapes.
On her way out, Jia calls her men and instructs them to tighten Karthik’s security.
She thinks to herself that no one can defeat her. Then she calls the police and informs them of something unknown.
Lakshmi returns home.
Gayatri anxiously asks about Karthik. Just as Lakshmi is about to explain, Jia arrives with the police and asks the inspector to arrest Lakshmi. Umesh intervenes, insisting that Lakshmi is their daughter-in-law and is innocent. Despite his protests, the inspector is about to arrest her. Lakshmi then informs the police that she has the forensic report to prove her innocence and hands it over. After reviewing it, the inspector announces that all allegations against her are dropped, stating that someone tried to frame her.
Lakshmi declares that Jia is behind everything.
Umesh supports her. Lakshmi also accuses Jia of kidnapping Karthik. Jia denies everything and warns them not to accuse her without proof. The inspector says that a missing person complaint can’t be filed until 24 hours have passed and leaves.
Lakshmi then reveals to Jia that the paper she gave her earlier was fake. Jia taunts Lakshmi, telling her to enjoy her small victory, but warns that none of them will ever see Karthik again. She leaves. Hearing this, Gayatri feels faint, and the family rushes to console her.
