The episode begins with Lakshmi trying to call Karthik, but his phone doesn’t connect. Meanwhile, Sanjana’s phone rings. Jia instructs Nidhi to collect everyone’s phones, saying she doesn’t want any disturbances. Nidhi gathers all the phones and sets them aside. Sensing something is wrong, Lakshmi tells Umesh that no one is answering her calls and something seems fishy. She urges the driver to speed up.
At the wedding venue, the pandit asks the bride and groom to stand for the phere. Karthik silently hopes Lakshmi arrives in time. Suddenly, Lakshmi’s car gets a flat tyre. She instructs the driver to fix it quickly. Meanwhile, Karthik pretends to feel unwell and collapses. Gayatri panics and asks Nidhi to call a doctor. She tells the pandit to halt the wedding. Jia steps in, splashes water on Karthik’s face, and demands that he stop the drama, change into a sherwani, and marry her. Karthik slowly gets up and heads to change.
Umesh informs Lakshmi that the location they searched has nothing. Lakshmi instructs him to stay there while she rushes home to stop the wedding.
Back at the venue, the groom returns to the mandap in a changed outfit. The pandit asks him to fill Jia’s maang with sindoor. He complies. Just then, Lakshmi arrives limping and yells for them to stop the wedding. Jia smugly declares that she’s already married and is glad Lakshmi witnessed the ritual. Lakshmi sarcastically congratulates her. Jia accuses her of going mad. At that moment, Karthik enters and declares that he belongs only to Lakshmi.
Everyone is shocked as the groom lifts his sehra—it’s Raghuveer, not Karthik. Jia is stunned and questions how he took Karthik’s place. A flashback reveals how Karthik and Raghuveer swapped at the last moment. Jia lashes out at Raghuveer for marrying her, but he mocks her, saying he only acted and never applied sindoor in her maang. Lakshmi shows Jia her empty forehead. The pandit leaves.
Jia threatens Lakshmi, vowing not to spare anyone for tricking her. Lakshmi firmly states that she and Karthik are husband and wife, and no one can separate them. She tells Jia that her failure stems from her inability to understand love. Karthik puts the nuptial chain around Lakshmi’s neck, making the family emotional. Jia fumes, but the family restrains her. Lakshmi twists Jia’s hand and warns her to stay away from Karthik.
Jia arrogantly claims she is the owner of the house and will throw them out. She tries to evict Gayatri, but Umesh stops her, revealing that the house has been legally transferred back in his name. Jia protests, saying she never signed anything. Lakshmi reveals she disguised herself as a delivery agent and got her signature on the papers. Umesh credits Lakshmi for taking him to the lawyer on time and foiling Jia’s plan.
