The episode starts with Lakshmi placing a pillow beside Veda and escaping from the room through the window.
Later, Raghuveer comes to Veda’s room and notices Lakshmi is missing. He immediately understands that she must have gone to meet Karthik. He tries calling Jia to alert her, but she doesn’t answer. He thinks, “If Lakshmi meets Karthik, their misunderstandings might get cleared, and Veda’s surgery might not happen.”
Meanwhile, Karthik recalls Raghuveer’s words about him and Lakshmi. Jia arrives and asks him to choose a wedding card design. Karthik bluntly says all the cards are terrible. Jia, annoyed, asks why he’s venting his frustration on her and sarcastically tells him to direct his anger toward Lakshmi, who’s busy with her “dusri aashiqui”. He tells her to leave him alone. Jia warns him not to forget that all his property is in her name and if he misbehaves, his family will face consequences. She asks him to clean the card he threw and leaves.
Lakshmi sneaks into the house to meet Karthik. She sees him singing their song and thinks, “If he’s singing this, he must still love me.” She goes to place her hand on his shoulder but stops when she hears footsteps—Jia enters. Jia smirks and says, “He’s no longer running away. Now I can control him,” and leaves. Lakshmi hides.
As Lakshmi comes out, a vase accidentally breaks. She hides again. Karthik hears the sound and asks who is there. Lakshmi thinks of escaping before anyone catches her. Family members arrive and ask Karthik what happened. He says someone entered the house. Suddenly, a man is spotted, and Karthik chases him. He throws a knife, but the man escapes without revealing his face.
To distract Gayatri, Lakshmi throws a stone and escapes again through the window. Karthik says the intruder escaped. Nidhi and Sanjana confirm that nothing was stolen. Meanwhile, Jia steps on a ring and realizes that Lakshmi was the one who entered.
Lakshmi wonders why she keeps failing to meet Karthik and who is behind it. Just then, she hears a sound and sees Raghuveer awake. He says he came to get water and tells her to go to sleep. She notices he’s limping and wonders what happened.
Later, Raghuveer is shown tending to a wound on his foot. Lakshmi sees this and realizes he was the masked man at Karthik’s house. She wonders why he’s trying to keep her away from Karthik. When Raghuveer goes to the bathroom, Lakshmi searches his room and finds the same clothes the intruder wore. Just then, Raghuveer’s phone rings, and she hides.
He answers a call from Jia. She scolds him for not keeping an eye on Lakshmi 24×7. He replies, “I didn’t let them meet, so stop scolding me,” and ends the call angrily, throwing the phone. Lakshmi picks it up, sees it was an unknown number, and calls back. Jia answers, “Glad you called. Open the message and see.” Lakshmi reads the threatening message and realizes Raghuveer and Jia are conspiring against her. She decides to confront Raghuveer.
As Raghuveer drives away, Lakshmi wonders where he’s going at this hour. She decides to inspect his room again to find the truth. While searching, she hears a noise from the cupboard. As she tries to move it, Veda calls out, “Mumma!” A woman is shown making noise with a spoon.
Lakshmi rushes to Veda. Veda says, “I didn’t finish my homework. Please help me.” Lakshmi says, “Let’s replicate the photo tomorrow,” but thinks about where to find Antara’s saree for it. She gives Veda her medicine and remembers Raghuveer saying Antara’s belongings are in the room.
She tells Veda she will get the saree and hears the cupboard noise again.
It is revealed that Antara is alive and is the one making the noise from the hidden room.
