The episode starts with Karthik telling Gayatri that his child will soon arrive, and he will fulfill her wishes. Gayatri feels happy and tells her husband that very soon Karthik’s child will play with them. Karthik clarifies that it will be his and Lakshmi’s baby. Gayatri is shocked and asks what he is saying, reminding him that he had agreed for a second marriage. Karthik firmly says Lakshmi is his wife for seven lifetimes. He reminds Gayatri that Lakshmi risked her life to save her and never left him when he needed her, so he will never leave Lakshmi because of small complications. He assures her that her dream will still be fulfilled. Gayatri questions how, since Lakshmi cannot conceive. Karthik explains that there are many options and reveals that the doctor suggested surrogacy. He informs everyone that they already found a surrogate mother. Karthik asks Lakshmi if she is ready. Lakshmi happily agrees, saying she can do anything for this joy. Karthik announces that the IVF procedure is scheduled for tomorrow and asks everyone to pray for them. Umesh agrees, and Lakshmi thanks Karthik, while Gayatri looks displeased.
At the hospital, Karthik and Lakshmi wait for Dr. Dakshit. A nurse informs them that Dakshit met with an accident and Dr. Panwar will handle their case. Lakshmi grows tense, but Karthik consoles her. Just then, Sanchi arrives and says she will be the surrogate mother of their baby. Lakshmi thanks her for the support. However, a mix-up occurs when the doctor mistakenly performs the procedure in the wrong room. Later, the doctor tells Karthik and Lakshmi that in two weeks they will get good news, leaving them overjoyed. But Sanchi interrupts, saying the procedure didn’t happen. The doctor realizes her mistake as both rooms carried the same number, 9, and she accidentally conducted the procedure in room 6. When she checks, the patient is already gone. Karthik angrily questions her carelessness. The nurse explains that the girl was uneducated, filled no proper details, and looked like a Rajasthani girl. The doctor apologizes and promises to fix the situation.
At home, Gayatri scolds Karthik, saying surrogacy is not the right option and what happened at the hospital was madness. Karthik blames the doctor, while Gayatri puts the blame on Lakshmi. Hurt, Lakshmi leaves in tears. Karthik worries that if the Rajasthani girl conceives, it will create big trouble.
A few days later, Karthik tries to surprise Lakshmi, but she asks if he found out about the Rajasthani girl. She says they don’t even know if that girl is pregnant with their baby. Just then, the doorbell rings. Two Rajasthani women arrive. Karthik asks who they are. One woman lifts her veil and accuses Karthik of ruining her daughter’s life. Lakshmi questions them. The woman reveals that her daughter had gone to the hospital for a check-up, but now she is pregnant with Karthik and Lakshmi’s baby. Karthik and Lakshmi are left shocked.

Precap: Gayatri angrily asks Lakshmi how she dared to think about surrogacy, insisting that the heir of the house cannot be born in another woman’s womb. Meanwhile, Karthik brings a girl home. He overhears Gayatri and Lakshmi’s argument and declares that he and Lakshmi made this decision together. He points to the girl and says she will stay with them. The girl is revealed to be Jia, hiding under a veil.
