The episode starts with Jia taking the glass shards out of her feet one by one. Jia vows to take revenge on Lakshmi.
Lakshmi comes to Jia and mocks her, saying that Jia tried to trap Lakshmi but ended up falling into her own trap. The Kapoor family comes to Jia and Lakshmi.
Karan asks Lakshmi and Jia what they are talking about. Lakshmi tells the Kapoor family that she had prayed for a mannat if Krish and Jia get married. Lakshmi says that now Jia has to complete her mannat. Dadi asks Lakshmi what the mannat is. Lakshmi tells Dadi that Jia has to make food for 101 people, and they are going to distribute that food to beggars. Dadi tells Lakshmi that she has done a good thing. Krish asks Lakshmi if Jia can do it tomorrow. Lakshmi tells Krish that Jia has to do it today as it is an auspicious date and comments on it. Dadi also agrees and asks Jia to complete the mannat. Jia agrees as she has no choice.
Lakshmi sees Jia cooking in the kitchen. Lakshmi comes to Jia and taunts her. Lakshmi tells Jia that she will help her. Lakshmi pours water into the kneaded wheat dough and ruins it. Lakshmi apologises to Jia and asks her to knead the dough again. Lakshmi tells Jia that she knows she can do it and then leaves.
Bhavani comes to Jia and sees her frustrated. Bhavani asks Jia what happened. Jia tells Bhavani that Lakshmi is deliberately causing trouble for her. Jia says that cooking is not her cup of tea and that she wants to quit. Bhavani stops Jia and tells her that for their goal to be achieved, they need to look good in front of Dadi. Jia agrees.
Jia makes a special paratha for Lakshmi with a lot of mirchi in it. Jia comes to Lakshmi and asks her to eat the hot paratha she made for her. Karan asks Lakshmi to eat it as it is a mannat wala paratha. Lakshmi, having no choice, eats it but controls herself from creating a scene in front of the family.
Lakshmi later comes to the kitchen to drink water. Jia takes the jug of water and enjoys watching Lakshmi suffer. Jia taunts Lakshmi. Lakshmi asks Jia to give her water, but Jia pours the water on the floor. Karan comes to the kitchen, and Jia hides from him.
Karan sees Lakshmi worried and asks why she is in tears. Lakshmi says that the food was spicy, so she came to drink water but was unable to find any. Karan comforts her by giving her ice from the fridge. Jia watches their romance from a distance and twists her eyes in dismay. Karan then gets water for Lakshmi and tells her romantically that he is waiting for her in the room before leaving. Jia comes out, and Lakshmi thanks Jia for helping her get some romance from her husband before leaving.
Jia feels frustrated. Krish comes to Jia and tells her that she is forgetting their target of separating Karan and Lakshmi by making mistakes. He says that her actions are actually uniting Karan and Lakshmi and asks why she can’t see it. Krish says that if she can’t separate them, then he will have to do something. Dadi asks Bhavani why there are so many sarees. Bhavani says that she wants to dress her daughter-in-law beautifully for the muh dikhai. Dadi says that Krish is not the son of this house, so how can the muh dikhai happen. She says that Karan only allowed Bhavani, her son, and daughter-in-law to stay in the house and asks her not to plant it in her mind that Krish is related to the house. Karan sees everything. Bhavani, with fake tears, agrees and says that she will return all the sarees. Karan asks Dadi not to hurt his stepmother and says to let Bhavani do Jia’s muh dikhai. Lakshmi plans to bring Jia and Krish’s truth in front of Karan.
Precap: Mangal taunts Sowmya, revealing that although Sowmya accused her of killing the baby to get rid of her, the baby is actually alive. Sowmya asks Mangal who will believe her. Lakshmi arrives and supports Mangal, telling Sowmya not to underestimate the bond between sisters.
Our Take:
Jia’s desperation to hurt Lakshmi only ends up strengthening Karan and Lakshmi’s bond, turning her own plans against her. Lakshmi calmly plays along, exposing Jia’s impatience while maintaining her dignity in front of the family. With Krish losing patience and Lakshmi plotting to reveal the truth, the drama is clearly heading toward a major confrontation.
