The episode begins with Imarti’s mother confronting Karthik and Lakshmi. She says, “My daughter went to the hospital for treatment, but instead she returned pregnant with your baby. Because of this, her marriage has been called off.” She breaks down in tears. Karthik asks her to come inside and talk calmly, but Imarti’s mother calls her relatives. Soon, a group of women arrive and create a scene.
Gayatri asks what is happening. Imarti’s mother declares that Imarti is carrying this family’s heir and insists they decide what to do with the baby. She then announces she is leaving Imarti at their house. Lakshmi tells Karthik, “It’s our baby.” Gayatri orders Imarti’s mother to take her daughter away and stop creating drama. But Imarti’s mother refuses, saying, “You made a mistake by making my daughter pregnant. We are not beggars.” She rejects Gayatri’s offer of money and leaves Imarti behind. Imarti begs her mother not to leave, but she walks away.
Lakshmi consoles Imarti and takes her inside, despite Umesh’s objection about keeping an unknown woman in the house. In the room, Lakshmi comforts Imarti, promising food and care. Imarti notices Karthik and Lakshmi’s photo and breaks down, saying, “If I was married, I would have been with my husband now.” Lakshmi apologizes, calling it a hospital blunder, but Imarti laments that her life is ruined.
Gayatri enters, furious that Lakshmi is showing sympathy. She declares that Imarti’s pregnancy will be terminated, citing Imarti’s mother’s words. Lakshmi objects, saying they cannot kill their heir. Imarti, in tears, grabs a knife and says if Gayatri wants to kill someone, she should kill her, not the baby. She tries to harm herself, but Lakshmi stops her and gets injured.
Imarti firmly states she will not allow an abortion. She promises to hand over the baby to them after birth but refuses to commit a sin. Lakshmi and Karthik thank her, calling her an angel. Lakshmi asks her to rest and offers help whenever needed. When Lakshmi tries to lift Imarti’s ghoonghat, Imarti stops her, saying she has taken a vow not to show her face until good enters her life. Lakshmi learns her name is Imarti and leaves.
Alone, Imarti looks into the mirror—revealing she is actually Jia in disguise, who has re-entered Karthik and Lakshmi’s life.

Precap: Lakshmi comes into Imarti’s room. Imarti hides her face and says if Lakshmi sees her face, her mannat will break. Lakshmi questions what kind of vow it is, saying another woman can surely see her face. She then looks at her—and is shocked to see Jia.
