The episode begins with Lakshmi realizing that Raghuveer was the one who turned Karthik against her. Raghuveer tells Lakshmi that Veda considers Jia her mother, so he had no choice. Lakshmi responds angrily, saying, “So that’s why Karthik is marrying Jia? Because you made him hate me?” Raghuveer apologizes and says he was forced into the situation. Lakshmi accuses him of playing games and says, “You knew how much Karthik means to me and how much I mean to him, yet you still created a rift between us.”
Raghuveer pleads with Lakshmi to believe him and reveals that Jia forced him to do everything. He shows her a video in which Jia threatens him and explains that Jia manipulated the heart donor to back out of donating the organ to Veda. He insists Jia has been controlling him and that everything he did was for Veda’s sake.
Meanwhile, Karthik dreams about Lakshmi. In the dream, Lakshmi comes to him and says she wants to return to him. Karthik replies that he will bring her back.
Jia overhears Karthik murmuring Lakshmi’s name in his sleep and notices Lakshmi’s ring in his hand. Disturbed, she immediately calls Raghuveer.
Raghuveer shows Lakshmi that Jia is calling and she urges him to answer. Jia furiously scolds Raghuveer, blaming him for failing to control Lakshmi. She tells him that Lakshmi’s presence has led Karthik to find the ring and remember her. Jia threatens Raghuveer, saying if he can’t handle Lakshmi, he should take her out of the city. Raghuveer replies that Lakshmi isn’t a fool who would come with him easily. Jia warns him that if Lakshmi stays, it will be impossible for him to save his daughter. She then hangs up.
Later, Raghuveer and Lakshmi visit the hospital and are informed by the doctor that a donor has been found for Veda. Raghuveer thanks the doctor, while Lakshmi steps out to get water. Outside, she grows suspicious about how a donor was found so quickly. She overhears two nurses talking about Veda and decides to investigate. Pretending to faint, she sends the nurse away to get money. She then opens Veda’s file and sees that the donor is still pending.
As the nurse returns, Lakshmi quickly shuts the laptop and pretends she saw nothing. She casually asks about Veda’s transplant. The nurse responds, “No donor has been found yet. We are still searching.”
Lakshmi becomes more suspicious, especially since Jia had told Raghuveer that a donor had been found. She returns to Raghuveer and overhears the doctor telling him that a donor has been found but some tests are still pending. When Raghuveer asks why surgery can’t be performed immediately, the doctor says he has another emergency and leaves.
Lakshmi secretly steals the doctor’s phone. Once he leaves, she tells Raghuveer that the doctor is lying—no donor has been found. Lakshmi decides to call Jia using the doctor’s phone. Jia, assuming it’s a pocket dial, picks up and says, “Why are you calling me? Keep Raghuveer hopeful by lying about the donor.” She gets no response and hangs up, thinking it was an accidental call.
Raghuveer and Lakshmi bring Veda home. Raghuveer expresses his shock, saying, “I never imagined Jia would stoop this low and even bribe the doctor.” Lakshmi suggests they start searching for a donor on their own. Raghuveer apologizes to her for creating differences between her and Karthik. Lakshmi assures him, “I’m with you.” She then says she wants to go home.
Raghuveer warns her it’s risky, especially since Jia is staying there and they still don’t know who attacked her and pushed her off the cliff. Lakshmi says she still doesn’t remember the face of the person who attacked her. Raghuveer encourages her to focus and try to recall. Lakshmi begins to remember the incident.
He advises her to look closely at Karthik’s family photos, hoping they might help her identify the attacker.
