The episode starts with the doctor informing Karthik that his father has multiple blockages in his heart and needs a heart transplant. He asks Karthik to arrange ₹25–30 lakhs immediately. Karthik is shocked. He goes to see his father and finds Karan there. Karthik asks what he’s doing. Karan says, “I’m the lifeline of your father—he can’t survive without my support.”
Karthik asks Karan to keep his father out of their issues and demands to know what he wants. Karan says, “My sister wants you, and I want to fulfill her wish.” He calls his man, who brings two trays. Karan says, “Take this ring and get engaged to Barkha. You’ll receive a cheque of ₹50 lakhs. Otherwise, take this garland—it will be needed for your father’s final rites.” Karan leaves. Karthik stands there, frustrated and helpless.
Meanwhile, Lakshmi tells Swetha that Barkha’s engagement dupatta is causing problems, saying, “It’s like it doesn’t want the engagement to happen. I don’t know why, but I’m getting a bad feeling.” Barkha calls Lakshmi and asks her to bring the dress update to her cabin.
Karthik cries holding his unconscious father’s hand and assures him, “I won’t let anything happen to you, Dad.” Seeing Lakshmi’s photo on his phone, he recalls their moments together and thinks, “Lakshmi took my child and left my life, and now Dad is in danger. I was angry, but she never tried to console me. She just ended everything by sending that note and leaving.” He admits to himself that he still loves Lakshmi and can’t marry someone else.
Barkha asks her team to arrange Karthik’s cutouts at the engagement venue. Lakshmi arrives and shows her the dupatta. Barkha disapproves and tells her to make a more spectacular outfit. Barkha then asks about her groom’s outfit and instructs Lakshmi to deliver it to Hotel Plaza. Lakshmi agrees.
Later, Lakshmi arrives at Hotel Plaza. Karthik recalls Karan’s offer and messages him, saying he has no choice and to send the cheque. Lakshmi reaches room 404 and rings the doorbell. Karthik opens the door to find a waiter who says a lady asked him to deliver this suit to Karthik as she was in a hurry.
Karthik opens the suit and finds a note inside: “With love, Barkha.” Memories of his marriage with Lakshmi flood back. Overwhelmed, he angrily throws the sherwani away.
Karan sees Barkha happy and gets emotional. Barkha asks him what happened. Karan says, “Do you know when you were this happy last time? It was when I gifted you that Dubai trip.” He adds that he’s happy seeing her smile. Barkha thanks Karan for being a Santa Claus in her life. Karan asks her to always stay happy.
Elsewhere, Lakshmi scolds Swetha for calling her urgently only to gossip. Swetha brushes it off and says they’ll soon find out who Barkha’s groom is. Lakshmi explains that Barkha asked her to check the sherwani’s measurements and that she gave it to a staff member to deliver. Swetha comments on it. When her network goes down and she can’t see Barkha’s fiancé’s photo, Lakshmi tells her not to poke her nose into others’ lives and leaves.
Karthik, meanwhile, feels conflicted and lost in thought. He admits he can never forget Lakshmi. As he picks up the sherwani, he smells it and feels her presence in it, lost in her memories.
