The episode starts with Lakshmi praying to Goddess Durga to save Karthik. Meanwhile, Karthik regains consciousness and calls out Lakshmi’s name. Umesh feels relieved and rushes to inform Lakshmi. Hearing the news, Lakshmi happily goes to see Karthik. She tells him to rest, and Karthik asks if she’s alright. Lakshmi assures him she’s fine.
Umesh says, “Lakshmi has truly proven her devotion by observing the Vat Savitri fast wholeheartedly—just like Savitri, she saved her husband.” Jia pretends to be concerned for Karthik, while Sanjana questions how Karthik and Gayatri got trapped in the storeroom and why the room temperature had increased. Gayatri quickly makes up an excuse. Lakshmi silently vows to expose Jia soon.
Later, Gayatri offers water to Karthik. He asks Lakshmi to drink some too, but Lakshmi replies, “I’ll only break my fast tomorrow, after offering prayers to the Sun God.”
The next day, Lakshmi prepares to break her fast in front of Suryadev. Karthik joins her, and they break the fast together. Jia feels jealous watching them.
In the kitchen, Lakshmi questions a worker, Reema. “You mentioned seeing the Satyavan photo frame in the storeroom. Did you see anyone near there at the time?” Reema replies, “Yes, I saw Jia there.” Lakshmi becomes determined to expose Jia. Jia, overhearing the conversation, decides to kill Lakshmi before she can reveal the truth.
Meanwhile, Sanjana prepares kheer and asks Nidhi to inform Lakshmi that it’s ready and would be good for her to break her fast with it. Jia sees the opportunity and smirks.
Karthik gives Lakshmi a gift. When she opens the box, she finds a half-heart pendant. Lakshmi says, “It’s beautiful, but it’s only half a heart.” Karthik smiles and shows her the other half, saying, “This way, we both have each other’s hearts.” Lakshmi says it’s the best gift ever, and Karthik puts the pendant around her neck. He tells her she has proven time and again that no one can love him more than she does. They exchange loving words, and Karthik gets a call and leaves for a meeting.
Nidhi informs Lakshmi that the family is heading out for a function and tells her to eat the kheer made by Sanjana. Lakshmi agrees. Once Nidhi leaves, Jia sneaks in and poisons the kheer.
Later, Lakshmi eats the kheer, unaware of the danger. Jia watches with satisfaction, thinking, Lakshmi will die very soon.
Suddenly, Lakshmi starts vomiting blood on the stairs. Jia pretends to be concerned and asks if she’s alright. As Lakshmi tries to reach for her phone, Jia cruelly kicks it away. Lakshmi pleads for her phone, but Jia drops her act and reveals her true face. She taunts Lakshmi, saying she was never mentally ill. Jia declares, “You’ll never leave me alone, so I’ve decided to send you to heaven. I’ll be with Karthik—and you’ll be gone.”
Lakshmi appears to take her last breath. Believing she is dead, Jia prepares to bury her. But suddenly, Lakshmi opens her eyes and kicks Jia. Lakshmi says, “You thought you could kill me?”
Episode ends.
Precap: Lakshmi confronts Jia and says, “Your plan will never succeed.” She locks Jia in a room.
