The episode starts with Lakshmi outsmarting Jia by alerting Gayatri and Fake Jia on time, telling them that Jia is spying on them by hiding in a teddy. Gayatri and Fake Jia act as if they are together. Jia thinks Fake Jia and Gayatri are on the same team and misunderstands that Lakshmi is with them. Lakshmi beats the teddy with a broom, saying it has dust, and then makes the guards throw Jia’s teddy into the dustbin. Later, Jia comes out of the dustbin, feeling stressed.
Lakshmi meets Karthik. Karthik tells Lakshmi that marriage arrangements are underway and that they need to stop it because he only loves her. Lakshmi says this is not the right time as Maa is unwell and sends him inside. Gayatri asks Jia to prepare laddoos for the marriage and leaves. Lakshmi approaches Jia, in tears, saying she doesn’t know how to stop the marriage, and even Karthik has agreed happily. She says that for Karthik, his first love and the baby are important. Lakshmi laments that this is her last day. Jia thinks she can win Karthik over by using the baby and believes Lakshmi has given her a good idea.
Gayatri asks Fake Jia to return her jewelry safely after the drama. Fake Jia says she isn’t interested in such things and is just following Lakshmi’s plan. They see Karthik nearby. Gayatri realizes he hasn’t heard anything. He tries to talk to Gayatri, but Lakshmi gestures for her to pretend to fall unconscious. Gayatri falls, and Lakshmi tells Karthik that she will stop the marriage and asks him not to stress about his mother.
Later, Jia messages Karthik to come to the terrace. Lakshmi thinks Jia has fallen into her trap. Karthik goes to the terrace and sees it decorated. Imarti tells Karthik that she doesn’t know when she fell in love with him and that it is Maata Rani’s sign that she is carrying his child. She asks Karthik to marry her and start afresh. Karthik asks Imarti if she has gone mad and reminds her that he is married to Lakshmi. He questions how she can love him despite knowing this. Imarti says that love is blind and argues that if he can agree to marry Jia, he should be able to marry her too. She claims she is better than Jia and threatens to take the baby and leave if Karthik refuses. Karthik refuses, and Imarti comments on it, saying she knew he would not agree, which is why she has packed her bags and leaves.
Imarti waits at the gate, hoping Karthik will come to stop her for the baby. She imagines Karthik agreeing to marry her and hugging her. Sanjana hits Imarti, thinking she is hugging Karthik. Imarti realizes she was daydreaming and apologizes to Sanjana. Sanjana says she is going to the temple and asks Imarti to come, but Imarti declines, saying she has work. She waits for Karthik, but he doesn’t come.
Imarti enters the house, furious, and finds the mandap empty with Lakshmi crying. She asks Lakshmi what happened. Lakshmi explains that Karthik has taken Jia somewhere because she tried to stop the marriage. Imarti comforts Lakshmi and asks if she knows where Karthik has gone. Lakshmi says he has gone to the Shublam hall, where the marriage is about to take place. Upon hearing this, Imarti leaves, while Lakshmi hopes her plan works.

Precap: Jia announces in the Shublam function hall that the person beside Karthik isn’t Jia, but she is his real Jia. Karthik arrives with Lakshmi at the Shublam function hall.
