Karan returns home and asks Dadi where Lakshmi is, mentioning that they are getting late for Mumbai. Jia tells Karan that Lakshmi may not want to go with him, which is why she left without informing him. She questions what could be so important that Lakshmi left without telling anyone. Karan also wonders what could have made Lakshmi leave suddenly.
Lakshmi reaches the child traffickers’ hideout and spots the baby along with several other children.
