The episode starts with Lakshmi shown to be stuck inside a grain storage facility. Jia thinks Lakshmi is going to suffocate and die there.
Gayatri calls Jia and asks her to come home immediately, saying the doctor is on the way to check on her. Jia agrees. She tells Karthik that this is their final goodbye and leaves.
Karthik thinks Lakshmi has come to the studio but hasn’t met him. He prays to God, hoping nothing bad has happened to her.
Lakshmi manages to escape from the grain storage. Meanwhile, Sanjana brings the doctor to Nigam Mansion. Gayatri asks Sanjana to send the doctor back, saying Jia is sleeping. Sanjana questions how they can do that, reminding her that Karthik strictly told them the doctor should check Jia. She tells Gayatri she’ll handle it and asks her to step aside. Sanjana takes the doctor to Jia’s room but finds that Jia is not there.
Lakshmi calls Karthik from a passerby’s phone and asks him to come to Sunset Point. The phone switches off before she can say more. Karthik asks the driver to take him to Sunset Point quickly. Lakshmi thanks the passerby and leaves.
Sanjana asks Gayatri where Jia is. Jia emerges from the washroom—it is revealed she entered the mansion through the bathroom’s ventilation window. Sanjana tells Jia that the doctor has come to check on her.
Lakshmi retrieves the memory card she had hidden under a tree. She senses someone is following her, so she hides the card again out of caution. She reflects that it was a good decision to hide it.
The doctor leaves after checking Jia. Jia says everything is fine now and remarks that Lakshmi should be dead by now.
Gayatri receives a call from Karthik. He asks if she knows why Lakshmi seems tense. Gayatri asks what happened. Karthik says Lakshmi called him and asked to meet her at Sunset Point, and she seemed disturbed. Gayatri says she doesn’t know anything about it. Karthik ends the call.
Gayatri scolds Jia, saying she claimed to have killed Lakshmi, but now Lakshmi has called Karthik. She says Lakshmi still has something to show him. Gayatri warns Jia that if she goes down, she’ll take Jia down with her, then walks away.
Karthik’s car crashes into another vehicle. The people in the other car turn out to be Jia’s henchmen, who deliberately hit Karthik’s car and begin arguing with him. They call Jia and inform her that they have stopped Karthik.
Lakshmi prays to God, hoping she will be able to expose Jia. A person in a black hoodie approaches her. Lakshmi assumes it’s one of Jia’s accomplices and tries to remove the hoodie to see their face. The person fights with Lakshmi and snatches the memory card. They throw dirt into her eyes to blind her. Jia then removes the hoodie—it was her all along.
It is revealed that Jia has disguised herself as Gayatri in order to kill Lakshmi and put the blame on her. Jia pushes Lakshmi off the cliff. Lakshmi manages to hang onto a tree root. Karthik arrives at the cliff and calls out for Lakshmi. Jia hides from him.
