The episode starts with Lakshmi waking up and seeing from the window that Karthik is leaving in his car. Lakshmi calls him to ask where he is going, but his phone is switched off. Lakshmi thinks, Karthik doesn’t want to talk to me, but I trust that he has read my letter. She writes another letter and asks Hari to give it to Karthik at his studio.
At the studio, Karthik is unable to concentrate on his recording. A clerk informs him that someone from his house has come. Hari arrives and hands him Lakshmi’s letter. Karthik reads it, where Lakshmi asks him to meet her at a café at 2 p.m. to clear the misunderstandings between them. Karthik angrily throws the letter away.
At the café, Lakshmi waits for Karthik. In her imagination, Karthik arrives and tells her that just because he came doesn’t mean he is not upset. Lakshmi replies, I know, but please sit, I want to talk to you. She tells him Jia is not pregnant and that she had recorded proof, but Jia deleted the video. She pleads with him not to fall into Jia’s trap, as the miscarriage drama was staged to create differences between them. Karthik says, I lived in the hope of having a baby, but my dream is broken. Lakshmi consoles him and shares good news: I can become pregnant. The doctor’s report was fake, the truth is I can conceive. Karthik feels overjoyed and hugs her. Just then, a waiter interrupts and Lakshmi comes out of her imagination, realizing Karthik never came.
On the way, Karthik thinks, I never want to meet Lakshmi again, why doesn’t she understand? Meanwhile, Jia is on a call, asking someone to execute her plan. She thinks, Before leaving, I have set a trap that will separate Lakshmi and Karthik forever. Suddenly, a van hits Karthik’s car. His car catches fire. Karthik struggles to escape but imagines Lakshmi calling him. He breaks the glass and manages to get out just before the car explodes.
At the café, Lakshmi feels restless. She tries calling Karthik, but the call doesn’t connect. She leaves. On her way, she overhears a pandit telling some women, This grahan is inauspicious. It will affect relationships, and some people may drift apart from their loved ones. Pray to God to avoid its effects. Lakshmi worries, Is Karthik really going far from me? I must talk to him at his office.
Meanwhile, people find an unconscious, injured Karthik on the road and call an ambulance. Lakshmi, passing by in an auto, wants to stop and help, but the driver says he is getting late. She doesn’t see that it is Karthik and prays for the injured man’s recovery. The ambulance takes Karthik away.
At home, Gayatri receives a call about Karthik’s accident. She breaks down and informs the family, and they all rush to the hospital. Lakshmi, meanwhile, goes to Karthik’s studio but doesn’t find him there. She assumes he must have gone home and asks the auto driver to take her there. On the way, a pregnant woman in labor pain pleads for her help. Lakshmi agrees and takes her to the hospital—unaware that it’s the same hospital where Karthik has been admitted.
At the hospital, Gayatri asks the manager why Karthik left the recording in a hurry. The manager replies, He received Lakshmi’s letter and rushed out. Gayatri, in tears, blames Lakshmi: She is responsible for my son’s condition. Lakshmi asks Nurse to call the husband of the pregnant lady. She decides to check on pregnant lady once. She goes to the Karthik room assuming it’s pregnant lady ward. Nurse sends Lakshmi away before she sees Karthik.
