The episode begins with Lakshmi revealing to Jia, “I’m not dead, and your plans will not succeed.” Jia, stunned, asks if Lakshmi didn’t eat the poisoned kheer. Lakshmi replies, “I kept an eye on you and saw you mixing poison. I pretended to eat the kheer and faked vomiting blood.”
She continues, “I warned you to stay away from me and Karthik, but you didn’t listen. Now the whole world will see your true colors. You’re a cheap woman.” Jia smirks and says, “You’re clever, but you can’t expose me without proof.” Lakshmi reveals, “I was wearing a hidden camera in this chain. It recorded everything—enough to expose you.” Jia is shocked to see the tiny camera inside Lakshmi’s heart-shaped pendant.
Lakshmi asserts, “This time, I’m prepared. You can’t defeat me.” When Jia tries to snatch the camera, Lakshmi twists her hand and locks her in a room. She takes Jia’s phone and heads out to show the video to Karthik at his recording studio.
Meanwhile, Karthik is busy with his music recording. Lakshmi tries to call him but can’t get through. She contacts the driver and learns that Karthik is at SNS Studio. She asks an auto driver to take her there.
Back at home, Jia calls Gayatri. Gayatri is in the car with the family. When she picks up the call, Jia urgently tells her, “Lakshmi got proof against me—we need to stop her.” Gayatri quickly sends her family to brunch and lies, saying there’s a gas leak at home and she has to check it. Sanjana grows suspicious of her behavior.
Gayatri takes an auto and reaches Jia’s location. She scolds Jia for giving Lakshmi the upper hand. Jia pleads with her to stop Lakshmi from meeting Karthik, or both of them will be exposed. Lakshmi reaches the studio and is about to enter Karthik’s recording room when Gayatri knocks her unconscious with chloroform. She removes the camera-pendant from Lakshmi’s neck, destroys it, and throws it away. Gayatri then drags Lakshmi to a secluded room, ties her to a chair, and leaves.
Lakshmi regains consciousness after some time and shouts for help. She realizes the pendant is gone and concludes someone is helping Jia—someone who could reach the studio quickly.
Elsewhere, Gayatri unlocks the room Jia was locked in, slaps her, and scolds her for being careless. Jia insists, “Lakshmi must die, or else we’ll be caught!” Gayatri refuses, saying, “I won’t be part of a murder. You’ll have to handle this on your own.” Jia agrees.
Back at the studio, Karthik sees multiple missed calls from Lakshmi. When he asks the driver about it, the driver says, “Ma’am called me in a panic and said she was on her way here.” Concerned, Karthik asks the driver to take him back to the studio.
Meanwhile, Lakshmi manages to untie herself and notices an earring on the floor. She realizes it belongs to the person helping Jia. At home, Gayatri also notices one of her earrings is missing. Sanjana approaches her and asks why she didn’t join the family brunch. Gayatri replies that she was feeling tired. Sanjana informs her that the doctor is coming to check on Jia and asks about her whereabouts. Gayatri lies, saying she has already helped Jia get ready and subtly blocks Sanjana from entering Jia’s room.
Back at the secluded place, Lakshmi is about to escape when Jia appears and scolds her for trying to expose her. Lakshmi defiantly says, “With Maa Durga’s blessings, I’ve survived every attempt of yours to kill me.” Jia shouts, “Today I’ll kill you—Karthik is mine!”
A fierce scuffle breaks out. Jia pushes Lakshmi, and her head hits a chair. Lakshmi falls unconscious. Meanwhile, Karthik arrives at the recording studio, looking for Lakshmi. He finds her pendant on the floor and grows worried.
Jia hides Lakshmi in a rice storage bin. Lakshmi, semi-conscious, begins to suffocate inside.
