The episode starts with Lakshmi and Barkha getting engaged. Everyone congratulates them. Dadi asks Karthik to perform an old song for her. Karthik dances with Barkha while singing a classic song. Lakshmi feels bad and tries to leave the place. Karan stops her and asks why she is leaving her boss’s engagement. He then dances with her. During the partner exchange, Lakshmi goes to Karthik. Karthik performs with Lakshmi, and during the next partner swap, Lakshmi goes to Karan.
Later, Barkha says she is happy about her engagement and asks Karthik to eat. Karthik says he doesn’t want to eat, but Barkha insists and says she will feed him dosa with peanut chutney. Lakshmi overhears it and stops Barkha from feeding Karthik, saying that Karthik has a peanut allergy. Barkha warns Lakshmi not to interfere. Karan asks Lakshmi how she knows about it. Lakshmi says she heard Karthik talking to Shankar Bhayya. She apologizes and leaves with her bag. Barkha calls Lakshmi an attention seeker and says she’s glad Lakshmi left. Karan thinks to himself that Karthik and Lakshmi’s connection doesn’t seem to be from the office, but something deeper and from the past. He decides to find out the truth.
Later, Karan asks Maddy if he did his work. Maddy says yes but questions why Karan is after Karthik. Karan replies that he only wants the best for his sister. Karan calls Karthik and asks him to reach the recording studio in an hour. Karthik says he is on the way. The driver informs Karthik that the tyre is punctured. Karan tells Karthik there’s no time and instructs him to take the jungle route, saying he’ll send another vehicle. Maddy tells Karan that he purposely made the tyre puncture and now is sending Karthik through the jungle route, asking why he’s troubling him. Karan says it’s for his sister’s happiness.
Gyabi tells the workers that Karthik is handsome and Barkha is lucky to have him. Lakshmi walks away quietly. Karan sees her and, on a call, intentionally says that Karthik went through the jungle road where a cheetah was spotted. He adds that it’s dangerous for him. Lakshmi overhears it and rushes to help Karthik. Karan sees Lakshmi leaving and thinks, Today, the truth will be exposed. I will find out the real relationship between Karthik and Lakshmi.
Karthik thinks there’s no way out and fears being trapped in the jungle. Suddenly, he sees a cobra and panics. The snake slithers behind him, and Karthik runs for his life. Lakshmi notices in the auto mirror that a car is following her. Karan, realizing she’s getting suspicious, tells the driver to overtake her and then follow without her knowledge. The driver agrees. Lakshmi stops the auto and runs into the jungle to rescue Karthik. A python wraps itself around Karthik and bites him. Lakshmi sees this and screams his name. She uses a stick to distract the python. Karthik falls unconscious, and Lakshmi is also attacked. The snake leaves, and Lakshmi crawls near Karthik before collapsing beside him. Karan searches the jungle for both Lakshmi and Karthik.

Precap: Karan realizes that Lakshmi risked her life to save Karthik. Later, he confronts Lakshmi about her relationship with Karthik.
