The episode starts with Karthik asking Karan why he called him. Karan says, “Let’s have a drink and bond.” Karthik replies, “Don’t talk about bonding when you blackmailed me into marrying your sister.” Karan says, “It’s fine to enjoy a couple of drinks, and I’m sorry for blackmailing you using your father. I did it for my sister’s happiness.” Karan insists Karthik drink with him. He pours a drink into Karthik’s glass, thinking that Karthik will reveal the truth within 15 minutes after drinking it.
Karan and Karthik start drinking. Karan says, “Let’s order some food,” and asks Karthik what he wants. Karthik refuses, saying he doesn’t want anything. Karan decides to order anyway. Karthik starts feeling dizzy and intoxicated. Karan notices Karthik looking disturbed and says, “Something bad has happened to you — your face shows you’re carrying emotional baggage.” He asks Karthik what’s wrong. Karthik says he once loved someone deeply, but she left him and made fun of his love. Karan asks who she is. Karthik thinks of Lakshmi but hesitates to reveal her name. After Karan insists, Karthik finally says, “It’s Lakshmi,” before falling unconscious. Karan is shocked to hear it.
Lakshmi hears a knock on the door late at night and wonders who it could be. When she opens the door, Karan points a gun at her. Lakshmi asks what he’s doing. Karan demands to know why she hid the truth that she’s Karthik’s wife. Lakshmi says, “It’s my personal life, and I don’t need to tell you anything.” Karan warns her to tell the truth, and during their scuffle, the gun goes off, hitting the wall. Lakshmi shouts, “Are you mad?” Karan says, “I don’t want Barkha to suffer, so tell me what your relationship with Karthik is.” Lakshmi says, “We have no relationship anymore.” Karan says, “I can see the love for Karthik in your eyes.” Lakshmi says, “I don’t want to tell you anything. Kill me if you want.” Karan replies, “I have a better idea.” He shows her a video and blackmails her into obeying him. Helpless, Lakshmi looks on as Karan orders her to reach the location he’ll send.
At 5 a.m., Lakshmi arrives at the place. Karan drives there in his car. Meanwhile, Dadi makes Karthik and Barkha perform a pooja. She asks the priest to fix a wedding date for them. Karthik thinks about Lakshmi. Barkha asks if he isn’t happy. Karthik pretends to be fine. Dadi asks where Karan is, saying he needs to perform the tika ritual. Vyom offers to do it, calling himself Karan’s real brother, but Barkha refuses and tries to call Karan. His phone is unreachable.
Just then, they hear drummers (dhol walas) entering the house. They tell a veiled groom he has come to the wrong place. Karan replies, “No, I’ve come to the right house.” He removes his sehra. Bhavani asks, “What kind of prank is this?” Karan says, “I got married to fulfill Dadi’s wish.” He tells Dadi, “You always wanted to see me married, so I did it.” Barkha asks if this is a joke. Karan reminds her that he never has time for pranks. Barkha asks if he’ll introduce them to his wife. Karan agrees and tells Dadi to perform the aarti for the bride. He invites the bride inside.
Lakshmi enters Karan’s house as his wife, her face covered with a veil.
Dadi asks Karan what’s going on. Karan reminds her, “You told me to marry someone who could handle me.” Dadi says, “Yes.” Karan replies, “Well, she’s the only one who can control me.” Karan then introduces Lakshmi as his wife. Everyone, including Karthik, is shocked to see Lakshmi as Karan’s bride.

Precap – Karthik applies turmeric to Lakshmi in the kitchen as she burns her hand in the kitchen and says to Lakshmi that there is still a relationship between them that is why he applied turmeric to her wound. Karthik says to Lakshmi he isn’t like her who ran away. Karthik asks Lakshmi to answer him. Karan witnesses this.
