The episode starts with Sudesh asking Gayatri to find out why Lakshmi hasn’t come yet and hopes she is not in any trouble. Gayatri says Lakshmi is responsible for Karthik’s condition. In the operation theatre, an unconscious Karthik takes Lakshmi’s name. The doctor asks the nurse to call Lakshmi inside so that Karthik can feel better. The nurse asks Gayatri about Lakshmi. Gayatri lies that Lakshmi is dead and cannot come.
Meanwhile, Lakshmi feels something is wrong. The manager gives Karthik’s phone to Gayatri. When she sees Lakshmi’s call, she thinks she must remove Lakshmi from Karthik’s life and cuts the call. Gayatri then messages Lakshmi from Karthik’s phone, accusing her of being the killer of his baby and warning that if she denies it, she will see Gayatri’s dead face. Lakshmi is shocked and pleads with Karthik in her heart to give her one chance to prove the truth. Gayatri sends another message as Karthik, saying that if she ever loved him, she should leave his life and never show her face again.
Lakshmi, shattered, walks aimlessly on the road. Her inner self tells her to let go of a love that only gives her pain and start living for herself. Karthik regains consciousness in the hospital. Ignoring Gayatri’s words, he rushes out to find Lakshmi. He goes to the café in his vulnerable state but doesn’t find her. At the same time, Lakshmi is shown leaving in a bus from the same area, but the two miss seeing each other.
Gayatri manipulates Karthik again, saying Lakshmi didn’t even visit him at the hospital and doesn’t care for him. Karthik defends Lakshmi, saying maybe she didn’t know about his accident, and runs home. Meanwhile, Lakshmi recalls how she caught a doctor lying to Karthik about Jia’s miscarriage, despite Jia never being pregnant. Lakshmi sneaks into the doctor’s cabin and finds proof on his laptop that Jia was never pregnant. Determined, she decides to show this evidence to Karthik. Sitting in the bus, Lakshmi thinks, I have proof of my innocence, and I know you’ll come searching for me because you can’t live without me.
Karthik searches for Lakshmi at home. Gayatri finds a letter Lakshmi left for him along with the report proving Jia’s false pregnancy. Realizing this could reunite them, she decides to destroy it. She tries to burn the letter in the mandir, but a sudden gust of wind blows it near Karthik and Lakshmi’s photo. Karthik asks about Lakshmi, and Gayatri hands him a fake letter she wrote, pretending it’s from Lakshmi. The letter says, You never trusted me, so our relationship has ended. I’m leaving you forever. Karthik is devastated. Gayatri adds, You were fighting for your life in the hospital, and Lakshmi was planning to leave you. Karthik collapses unconscious.
