The episode begins with Lakshmi trying to see Jia/Imarti’s face through the mirror she arranged. Suddenly, smoke fills the room, and everyone starts coughing. Gayatri questions Lakshmi, asking if she forgot to turn off the stove. Lakshmi insists she did and rushes to the kitchen. There, she finds the stove turned on and the prasad burnt. She grows suspicious, wondering how the stove was turned on by itself. Returning to the pooja area, Gayatri scolds her for ruining the prasad. Jia steps in and offers the prasad she had prepared, but Lakshmi firmly says it is not needed as she already placed her prasad in the mandir. She adds that God accepts everyone’s offerings and allows Jia to keep hers as well. The family completes the aarti, but Lakshmi’s doubts about Imarti deepen.
During Ganesh Visarjan, Lakshmi sees Jia’s reflection in the water. She forcefully removes Jia’s ghoonghat, ignoring Karthik’s protests. Everyone is shocked to see Jia’s face. Lakshmi declares that Jia has returned as Imarti. Karthik denies it, saying Jia is in jail. But Sanjana insists it is Jia, who is now carrying Lakshmi and Karthik’s baby. Lakshmi accuses Jia of once again playing with their emotions. Jia, however, continues to act as Imarti. Gayatri reminds everyone that they themselves proved in court that Jia underwent plastic surgery and is behind bars. Lakshmi claims that too was part of Jia’s game, and now she has returned. An enraged Karthik tries to attack Jia for misusing their child, but Umesh stops him. Jia pretends innocence, and when Lakshmi lashes out at her, she suddenly acts as if she is in pain and faints.
The doctor is called, who says Jia collapsed due to stress and advises them to keep her away from it. Karthik anxiously asks if the baby is safe, and the doctor confirms it is. Lakshmi then asks whether Jia is truly pregnant, and the doctor confirms her pregnancy. After thanking the doctor, Karthik and Lakshmi are left shocked. Karthik wonders if Jia is here, then who is in jail. Lakshmi concludes that this is part of Jia’s bigger conspiracy, and they must meet the woman in jail to uncover the truth.
Meanwhile, Nidhi worries and tells her parents that if Jia is carrying the family heir, they will all become her slaves. Gayatri vows not to let that happen.
At the jail, the woman imprisoned as Jia argues with Lakshmi and Karthik, asking why they are doubting her identity. She claims she is not Jia and demands to be released, but the Inspector refuses, reminding them that they themselves proved her identity with evidence. Later, Gayatri tells the family that if Imarti is indeed Jia, she will have her arrested. Jia overhears this. Gayatri goes to check on her, while Karthik privately tells Lakshmi that perhaps Imarti is not Jia. But Lakshmi insists Jia cannot be trusted and they must find answers quickly. She urges Karthik to join her in uncovering the truth.
