Lakshmi disguises herself and enters the hospital. She creates a scene and tells the doctor and nurse that she had lost consciousness in the hospital, and when she woke up, the doctors placed her dead baby in her arms two and a half years ago. Lakshmi says her baby was taken away from her, and now she has come to demand the truth. She accuses the hospital of killing her baby. The doctor asks Lakshmi to show proof that she was admitted to the hospital. Lakshmi shows Jia’s reports from two and a half years ago. The doctor asks the nurse to bring the patient’s file from that time.
At the Kapoor mansion, Jia tries to take the baby. The baby accidentally hits a candle, causing Jia’s saree to catch fire. Jia shouts for help. Karan comes, pours water on her saree, and rescues her. Jia tells Karan that Lakshmi’s daughter has become a problem for her. Karan asks Jia what she means. Jia says that the baby is always with Lakshmi, which is why she spoke that way.
The nurse calls Jia and informs her that a woman has come to the hospital and is creating a scene. The nurse says the woman wants to see her reports. Jia wonders who this woman could be and decides to check it out.
The nurse brings the reports and hands them to the doctor. Lakshmi steals the reports and sees Karthik’s name written as the baby’s father. Jia arrives at the hospital and asks the nurse who wants to see her reports. The nurse points toward a woman. Jia removes the woman’s veil and realizes it is not Lakshmi, which makes her feel relieved.
It is shown that Lakshmi had spotted Jia entering the hospital earlier, so she sought help from a woman standing beside her. Lakshmi asks the woman to say her name is Jia and cover her face with a veil. She gives the woman money to convince her, and the woman agrees.
Jia leaves the hospital, but her car tyre gets punctured. She steps out of the car and suddenly sees a ghost. Terrified, Jia runs away.
Jia reaches a shop and tells the shopkeeper that she saw a ghost. The shopkeeper says the ghost’s name is Amma, who lost her baby in childhood and died due to that grief. He adds that the ghost only targets mothers who torture their own children and asks Jia not to worry. Jia recalls how she had tried to kill the baby she gave birth to. The shopkeeper closes his shop and leaves despite Jia asking him to stay.
Lakshmi, disguised as the ghost Amma, appears, chokes Jia, and tells her that she has no right to live because she tried to kill her own baby.
