The episode starts with Lakshmi, who is disguised as Amma the ghost. She chokes Jia and accuses her of attempting to kill her daughter. Jia explains to Amma that although she might have given birth, the baby belongs to someone else. Hearing this, Lakshmi leaves Jia. Jia leaves the scene. Lakshmi takes off her disguise and thinks the truth is getting more complicated as she tries to find it out.
Lakshmi thanks the shop vendor, gives him some money for helping her, and leaves.
Lakshmi returns to Karan’s room and pretends to sleep. Karan wakes up, sees Lakshmi, and thinks to himself that Lakshmi wasn’t there the whole night, so why is she acting like she is sleeping? Lakshmi acts as if she has just gotten up and says good morning to Karan. Lakshmi says she will make coffee for him and leaves.
While serving food to Karan, he asks Lakshmi if she slept well last night. Lakshmi tells Karan that she slept really well and only woke up in the morning. Karan thinks Lakshmi is lying to him. Lakshmi hears the baby crying and goes to the baby.
Jia comes to Karan and asks him why Lakshmi is saying she slept the whole night while he claims she wasn’t there. Jia asks Karan why Lakshmi is lying to him.
Lakshmi notices the baby’s hair. Lakshmi asks Mala, the servant, to go and get the comb from Jia’s room sneakily. Mala agrees and leaves.
Mala brings a comb and gives it to Lakshmi. Lakshmi thinks that now she will send both samples for DNA testing and find out if this baby belongs to Jia or not.
Later, Lakshmi cannot find her comb in her room. Lakshmi asks Mala where her comb is. Mala reminds Lakshmi that she gave the comb to her when Lakshmi was sitting in the hall. Lakshmi says to Mala that she asked her to go and get Jia’s comb. Mala says Jia’s room was closed, so she brought Lakshmi’s own comb instead. Mala says she thought Lakshmi wanted a comb to set her hair, so she gave Lakshmi’s comb to her.
After hearing this, Lakshmi thinks the DNA test will not be accurate, as she has sent her own and the baby’s DNA samples.
Karan comes to Lakshmi and says they should go out and spend some time together. Lakshmi says to Karan that she has to go to Swetha’s right now and cannot leave with him. Lakshmi leaves.
Jia thinks Lakshmi is not leaving her alone. Jia comments on the fact that Lakshmi has sent her own hair sample—thinking it was Jia’s—and the baby’s hair sample for DNA testing. Krish comments on Jia. Jia retorts to Krish and says he has no choice but to side with her. Krish informs Jia that Lakshmi has left home, and if they want to do anything, they have to do it before Lakshmi returns. Jia agrees.
Lakshmi comes to the doctor and tells him that she sent the wrong hair sample. The doctor clarifies to Lakshmi that the hair samples are a match. The doctor says the baby belongs to the mother who provided the hair sample. After hearing this, Lakshmi realizes the baby belongs to her.
Lakshmi returns home. She spots Jia putting the baby in the car and driving away. Lakshmi tries to stop Jia but fails. Lakshmi chases Jia’s car but loses track of it after some time. Lakshmi prays to God and asks Him to show her the way. Lakshmi relocates Jia’s car and resumes the chase.
Lakshmi forces Jia to stop the car on the side of the road. Jia runs away. Lakshmi gets down from her car and goes to Jia’s car for the baby. Lakshmi sees it isn’t the baby, but just a doll. Jia locks the door.
A flashback shows when Lakshmi lost track of Jia. Jia met up with Krish, gave the baby to him, and told him she would distract Lakshmi. Jia then left.
Jia presses a button, causing smoke to fill the car. Lakshmi asks Jia to open the car door, fearing she will die. Jia says to Lakshmi that she has been trying to get rid of her for a long time. Jia leaves. Lakshmi loses consciousness. However, Lakshmi thinks about the baby and regains consciousness.
The episode ends.

Our Take:
The DNA test delivers a massive shocker, proving the baby is biologically Lakshmi’s and turning the entire mystery on its head. The tension peaks as Lakshmi falls for Jia’s “doll” decoy, leading to a life-threatening trap inside a smoke-filled car. While Lakshmi battles for consciousness, Jia and Krish’s plan reaches a cruel climax with a cliffhanger that puts the baby’s life in grave danger.
