The episode starts with Lakshmi about to fall out of the window. Karan comes and saves her just in time. She regains her senses and questions why he held her. He is about to go inside when she asks where he’s going, saying he’s acting like a boss. He comments on her, cleans his shoe with her designer cloth, and leaves. Shankar comes and tells Lakshmi that he’s glad sir saved her on time. Lakshmi recalls everything and thinks that the man saved her, yet she scolded him. She asks Shankar who Karan is, but before he can reply, his friend calls him saying he forgot to turn off the stove, so he leaves in a hurry.
The next day, Lakshmi prays to Maata Rani to always be with her as her support. She wakes up her colleague Swetha. Meanwhile, Karan asks his assistant Gyabi to prepare a termination letter for Lakshmi. Gyabi is shocked but does as instructed. Gyabi goes and throws Lakshmi’s belongings out. Lakshmi questions what she is doing. Gyabi gives her the termination letter and says, “I don’t know how you got this job. Go back to your village and work there.” Lakshmi says she needs the job and will talk to Barkha ma’am. Gyabi says it’s not Barkha ma’am but the boss who fired her and adds that she doesn’t know what Lakshmi did to trouble him. She throws Lakshmi’s belongings again. Lakshmi notices the handkerchief with her and Karthik’s names on it and hugs it emotionally. Other employees want to help Lakshmi, but Gyabi warns them to get back to work, saying Barkha ma’am will not spare them if they interfere. Lakshmi packs her things and leaves the office.
Barkha calls Gyabi and asks her to tell Lakshmi to come to her cabin to discuss the new designs, as she is on her way to the office. Gyabi tells Barkha that Lakshmi has been fired by Karan.
Umesh looks at Karthik’s photo and cries, saying, “I’m a lifeless person without you, Karthik. Please come back.” He suddenly gets an attack. Gayatri sees that Umesh is not calming down and calls the doctor to check on him. She says, “I know only Karthik’s return can cure you.” She tries calling Karthik, but he doesn’t answer. Sanjana calls Gayatri, and Gayatri tells her that her brother’s health is deteriorating and that Karthik hasn’t returned home since Lakshmi left. She adds that Umesh is ruining his health, and Gayatri decides to bring Karthik back.
Barkha tells Karan that they need Lakshmi. Karan says he doesn’t need rude employees. Barkha replies, “I can’t train a new employee in such a short time. Have you thought about what we’ll tell Dadi if we let Lakshmi go?” She asks Karan to stop Lakshmi from leaving the city.

Precap: Lakshmi thinks about where she will find another job, as she doesn’t even have money to take an auto. Karan asks Lakshmi to come with him, but Lakshmi tells him that she cannot go with him.
The next day, while Lakshmi is walking on the road, she is forcefully dragged into a vehicle.
