The episode starts with Karan visiting a temple. Since he doesn’t know how to perform the pooja, he decides to leave, but a lady arrives and helps him complete the rituals. Karan prays for Lakshmi’s recovery. He returns home and ties a raksha dhaga on Lakshmi’s hand. Dadi notices it. Karan sleeps on the chair beside her.
The next morning, Karan wakes up and finds Lakshmi missing from the bed. He rushes downstairs and sees her with her luggage. He asks where she is going. Lakshmi tells him that she is fine now and is leaving for Delhi. Karan says she was just stabbed and questions how she can travel in this condition. Dadi comes and asks Lakshmi the same. Karan says sarcastically that Lakshmi is a superwoman, hence leaving for Delhi.
Lakshmi thanks Dadi for her support during tough times and says that Dadi knows the truth about her marriage with Karan, so she should allow her to leave. Dadi says the marriage is real, so Lakshmi should stay. Lakshmi refuses. Karan tells Dadi to let her go, saying he will bring her a “modern bahu.”
Lakshmi takes Dadi’s blessings and is about to leave, but her saree pallu gets stuck to Karan’s watch. She removes it and walks out. Dadi recalls the pandit’s words about keeping Lakshmi near Karan for his safety. Karan asks Dadi not to worry and go upstairs. As she climbs the stairs, Dadi suddenly falls unconscious. Karan sees Lakshmi leaving, while Lakshmi sees Karan in the rear-view mirror and drives off.
Karan thinks he doesn’t care about Lakshmi. He goes downstairs, finds Dadi collapsed, and asks what happened. Dadi whispers “Lakshmi” and faints again. Later, the doctor tells Karan he brought Dadi to Delhi just in time on Dr. Gupta’s advice. Karan wonders if Lakshmi has also come to Delhi. Vyom escorts the doctor out. Dadi asks Karan to notice the signs God is showing him and not ignore his connection with Lakshmi. Karan says Lakshmi left by her own choice and he doesn’t want to think about her anymore. He leaves. Dadi thinks she can clearly see Karan’s care for Lakshmi, but he refuses to accept it.
Lakshmi asks Sweta why she came to Delhi with her, leaving her job behind. Sweta says she no longer wants to work for the murderer Barkha and is ready to start a fresh life in Delhi with Lakshmi, where they can look for new jobs. Lakshmi agrees and asks her to unpack. Suddenly, they hear a girl screaming. They come outside and hear other girls saying that the girls from Room No. 10 always go missing, and it seems Anjali will go missing too. The warden scolds the girls for spreading stories and says Anjali left the hostel in the morning. The girls insist the scream was Anjali’s and that four girls have gone missing already. Warden Madhu stops them from scaring Lakshmi and Preeti and sends them away. Sweta tells Lakshmi that Madhu’s behaviour seems strange. Lakshmi asks her not to overthink and sends her inside while she goes to buy vegetables.
Lakshmi visits Kartik’s house and finds it locked and abandoned. A vegetable vendor tells her Kartik’s family vacated the house after Kartik’s demise. Lakshmi becomes worried. Suddenly, a red dupatta falls on her. She removes it and sees a masked, bandaged person standing there.
