The episode starts with Krish worrying about Lakshmi outside the operation theatre. Karan comes to Krish and asks him what he has done to Lakshmi. Karan warns Krish that if anything happens to Lakshmi, he will kill him. Krish assures Karan that he will not allow anything to happen to Lakshmi.
The doctor comes out of the operation theatre and informs them that Lakshmi has lost a lot of blood and urgently needs a blood donor. Krish tells the doctor to take his blood, as his and Lakshmi’s blood groups are the same. Karan recalls Lakshmi telling him that her blood group and Karthik’s blood group are the same. Karan starts suspecting that Krish is Karthik. Krish goes in to donate blood.
Jia comes to Karan and confirms that what he is thinking about Krish is right. Jia reveals that Krish is actually Karthik. She tells Karan that if he wants to save his love, he must take Lakshmi far away from there; otherwise, Karthik will take Lakshmi away from him. Karan leaves.
Jia thinks to herself that she could easily kill Lakshmi, but she will not give her an easy death. She decides to make Lakshmi suffer before she dies.
Karan comes to Lakshmi and dreams of her regaining consciousness and Krish taking her away from him. He wakes up and realizes that Lakshmi has actually regained consciousness. Karan promises Lakshmi that he will never argue with her again and asks her not to ever leave him. Lakshmi assures him that she is not going anywhere.
Krish enters Lakshmi’s room and says that he wants to talk to her alone. Lakshmi asks him to say whatever he has to say in front of Karan.
Krish reveals that he is Karthik. Lakshmi questions him, asking why he sent Karan to jail and made her suffer if he is Karthik. Krish admits that he was angry and jealous because she left him and chose Karan. He explains that Jia influenced him to seek revenge, but seeing Lakshmi in such a condition made him realize that he gains nothing from her pain. Krish asks Lakshmi to come with him so they can leave and start a new life together. Karan recalls Jia’s warning that if he does not take Lakshmi away, Krish will.
Karan confronts Krish for daring to speak to Lakshmi like that. Krish reminds Karan that Lakshmi is his wife and accuses him of coming between them. Karan and Karthik get into a fight. Lakshmi tries to stop them, but Krish accidentally pushes her. Karan rushes to Lakshmi and asks if she is alright. The nurse calls security, and both men are taken away. Lakshmi is left confused and torn between the truth.
Jia watches Krish being taken away and realizes this is not part of her plan. She decides she must act before Krish takes Lakshmi away.
Disguised as a nurse, Jia tries to inject poison into Lakshmi. Lakshmi recognizes Jia and stops her.
