Jia admits that Lakshmi is right and reveals that Krish is actually Karthik. She explains that she found him after his face was destroyed and arranged plastic surgery for him. Jia accuses Lakshmi of breaking Karthik’s heart by marrying Karan and claims that Karthik now wants revenge. Lakshmi insists that Karthik was never that kind of person and says she knows Krish is not Karthik. Jia accuses Lakshmi of being blinded by her love for Karan and failing to accept the truth. Jia pushes Lakshmi and escapes from the room. Lakshmi remains convinced that Krish is not Karthik.
Karan recalls Krish’s words claiming that Lakshmi is his wife. Dadi notices Karan’s disturbed state and asks him what happened. Karan rests his head on Dadi’s lap and, in tears, admits that he fears losing Lakshmi to Karthik. Dadi asks whether Karthik is not dead. Inside the car, Lakshmi asks Karan where they are going. Karan replies that he is taking her far away from all the conspiracies. Lakshmi warns that Krish will follow them wherever they go. Karan says he cannot lose her to anyone. Lakshmi says that although the evidence points toward Krish being Karthik, she does not believe it. She insists they must uncover the conspiracy, as the enemies will not spare Karan’s family, and they need to break their plan. Suddenly, Krish blocks their car. They stop. Karan agrees that Krish is relentlessly chasing them. Lakshmi steps out to talk to Krish. Krish asks her if Karan has kidnapped her. Lakshmi replies that she doubts Krish’s identity, saying that if he were truly her Karthik, he would never have teamed up with Jia. She challenges him to bring Jia’s dead body to her as proof, stating that only then will she consider going with him. She warns that if he harms Karan or his family, it will further prove that he is not Karthik. Lakshmi then leaves with Karan in the car.
On the way, Karan questions Lakshmi about setting such a condition and asks if she would really go back to Krish if he killed Jia. Lakshmi assures him that it will never happen. She believes Krish will now go to Jia to discuss their plan, which will allow them to keep an eye on them and uncover the real conspiracy. She is confident that Krish’s true identity will soon be exposed.
