In today’s episode of Mangal Lakshmi, Pratima submits papers claiming that Kusum withdrew her statement, which leads to Kapil’s release. Kusum is left shocked when Sowmya twists the situation and accuses Mangal of tricking her into signing the bail papers. Heartbroken, Kusum loses her trust in Mangal. However, Adit stands by Mangal and even gets hurt while protecting her from Kusum.
Later, Adit tends to Mangal’s wound with care and confesses that Sowmya bribed him with chocolates to hide the truth about how she obtained Kusum’s signature. Mangal finally realizes that Sowmya was behind the entire conspiracy. Determined to support Mangal, Adit shares his plan with Akshat to teach Sowmya a much-needed lesson.
In the upcoming episodes, Adit’s plan takes a dangerous turn when he traps Sowmya amidst a blast of crackers. Mangal rushes to save Sowmya, preventing her from getting hurt.
Furious, Sowmya attempts to slap Adit for his actions, but Mangal intervenes and firmly supports him, saying he is now a child and needs understanding. This creates a new twist in Mangal and Sowmya’s ongoing clash.
