The episode starts with Ishana reminding Akshat that he had prepared a lot to be an astronaut for the fancy dress competition. Adit asks Akshat to go and participate in the competition. Akshat says he doesn’t want to go to school. Ishana says that if he doesn’t go, she won’t go either. Kusum asks Ishana why she won’t go, as she has prepared a lot for the dance competition. Ishana tells Kusum that she won’t go because Akshat is not going to school. Kusum says she won’t go to the temple, and Adit says he won’t go to the office either. Akshat asks Ishana not to do this and urges her to go to school. Akshat says he will go to school. Adit agrees, saying it’s a good thing. Akshat tells Adit that he will go to school but will not participate in the competition. Adit agrees.
Jia asks Karthik if he is shocked. Karthik asks Jia if she is really the owner of Red Label Music Company. Jia says yes and comments on it. Karthik tells Jia that she will not do the photoshoot. Jia reminds Karthik that if he doesn’t agree to do the work, she can take legal action against him. Karthik tells Jia that she can do whatever she wants. Karthik prepares to leave but is shocked when he sees Lakshmi and Gayatri. Lakshmi tells Karthik that they came to see the photoshoot. Karthik pulls Lakshmi and Gayatri away, making up a reason.
Dhruv Khanna, a classmate of Akshat, is shown playing alone when a bell falls on his legs, injuring him. Mangal spots him, goes to him, and tends to his wound.
Mr. and Mrs. Khanna search for their son throughout the school premises but cannot find him. Adit’s family is shown arriving at the school. Mangal brings Dhruv in front of everyone. Mangal tells Dhruv’s parents that a heavy object fell on his leg, causing a lot of bleeding. Mangal asks Dhruv’s parents to take him to the hospital. Mrs. Khanna thanks Mangal for saving her son and has everyone clap for her. All the women also praise Mangal, saying they had thought of making their son leave school, but she saved a child instead. They say Mangal proved their thinking wrong and comment on it. Akshat puts a cape around Mangal as if she were a superhero.
Gayatri spots Jia coming to Karthik and Lakshmi. Gayatri takes Jia away. Karthik sees that Gayatri has noticed Jia and thinks he should tell Lakshmi about Jia.
Gayatri asks Jia what she is doing here. Jia says she came to win Karthik back. Jia says that after the photoshoot, Lakshmi will leave Karthik on her own. Gayatri smiles upon hearing this.
Kusum praises Ishana’s dance performance. Mangal says it would have been nice if Akshat had also participated as an astronaut today. Adit says it has been ruined, all thanks to Mangal. Akshat comes on stage, not as an astronaut but as Mangal’s son, and says he doesn’t know what he will be in the future, but he knows he will be the best son for his mother. Adit gets furious upon hearing this. Mangal goes on stage and hugs Akshat. Adit leaves in anger.
Karthik tries to tell Lakshmi the truth about Jia, but Gayatri interrupts their conversation and sends Lakshmi away, saying she forgot her BP tablets in the car. Karthik reveals his intention to Gayatri to tell Lakshmi the truth about Jia. Gayatri advises Karthik against it.
Adit’s family returns home. Sowmya notices everyone is happy and asks Adit if everything has been sorted out between Mangal and Akshat, as everyone is looking cheerful. Adit says he is going to the office and leaves. Sowmya follows him.
Mangal sees a message from Keerthi saying they are waiting for her food. Mangal tells Kusum that she forgot about it and doesn’t know how she will prepare the order as there is no time. Kusum tells Mangal that she knows she can do it. Mangal decides to complete the order at any cost.
